Only reason I came here was because of how close they are to where I live. Otherwise, the service is garbage, the workers are beyond disrespectful, and I was without a car for two days because they “forgot” to tell me they were closed Sunday when I told them I’d pick it up Sunday. They also “forgot” to call me the following day when it was ready so I had to show up and ask. Never again.

Made a reservation online on a Tuesday for Thursday morning at 8:30am. I received a confirmation email saying my reservation is complete and that my appointment would be from 8:30 - 9:30. When I arrived and gave them my name, the woman at the front asked me if I was going to come back at the end of the day to pick up my car. I said "I have the email right here, it says 8:30 - 9:30..." and she said "we don't have anyone to work on cars. They need to stop letting people do reservations online..." blah blah blah. Ridiculous. I told them the least they could do is give people a call and say "I'm sorry, we don't actually have that time open, our online system isn't working, can we schedule you later in the day?" Worst customer service I've ever experienced just trying to get an oil change and tire rotation. No apology whatsoever.

Darby who was running the desk is arguably the rudest person I've ever dealt with. She would cut me off whenever I asked a question and wouldn't even make eye contact. I know they weren't even busy because I went on a day where there was only one car being worked on and she kept avoiding communicating with me and just demanded I give her the keys and I wouldn't get my car back until near close. It was 8:30 AM when I went and they don't close until 6:00 PM. It was obvious she was in a bad mood and didn't want to deal with customers, but that's not mine or anyone else's fault. I walked out and told her I was taking my business someplace else and she immediately replied "yeah fuck you too". I don't care if they're service for the cars themselves actually is fast, I will never step foot in that place again until she is fired, and I've never wished that for any person as people need a job to survive, but this is a major exception. Beware of Darby if you ever decide to try out NTB in the Bellevue area. Hi Guy. It looks like your experience did not match your expectations. Please tell us how we can help at ntb.com/contact-us-form

The service advisor was absolutely awful at trying to sell me anything. I didn't sign any paperwork agreeing on price or sign a release for my car. He didn't show me the concern with my car, didn't express in a normal manner how my brakes were. Didn't check the front brakes only the rears, said my car was dangerous but didn't recommend the correct fix. 2 tires took over 90min to do with an appointment and few cars in the bay. The waiting room was dirty, TV off, vending machine dirty looking. Overall not impressed at all and the whole experience was sub par.

I just needed I simple battery change. They had to reschedule me twice and the third time I came in the lady said it would be a couple hours wait. Lord if miscommunication and terrible customer service!

  • Mar 09, 2021 by Amy Castillo

I needed a battery terminal change and dropped off my car Saturday afternoon. I brought in the equipment and they said the manual labor would be $25. They said it would be ready on Monday morning. I came to pick it up Monday evening (after work) and they had not even moved it to the repair area. I came back Tuesday evening after work and there was nobody at the desk. I waited for 15 minutes just to get someone in the lobby. They wanted to charge me $60 and I had to fight to get a fair price. Really bad service and communication.

I've always felt that it was hard to find an honest mechanic, but they've proved me wrong! Every time I have been here I feel that I have been given honest evaluations and reasonable charges for work that's been done.

They are great even though it was there for a week because of a winter storm. BJ IS A GOOD MECHANIC PLEASE GO TO NTB. IN BELLEVUE. THANK AGAIN GUYS APPRECIATE WHAT YOU GUYS DO.

I've been an NTB (Bellevue) customer for years. Great service, reasonable prices, and very nice people.

  • Dec 01, 2020 by Bryson Asmus

Made an appointment for oil change online and selected that I will wait on site rather than pick it up at a later time. They failed to tell me that it would be a 3 hour wait and only learned that when I pulled up to the shop. Will not be back here due to their lack of communication and unwillingness to help in the situation. Plenty of other better shops around the area.

Oh, totally awesome. Nothing negative to say about these guys at all. So helpful and professional. I'd trust them with any vehicle issue

  • Jul 22, 2020 by Phillip VanGessel

Representatives are very respectful, and received honest quota. Was informed of possible future problems, but was not pressured or pushed into having more work done to my vehicle. The gentleman in the shop spent no time correcting the problems, and stayed focused on task. Lastly I was contacted by phone, and offered a discount that was located after picking up my vehicle. Will be receiving it with no headache. Genuine staff. I was very impressed! Owner should be proud!!

  • Jul 03, 2020 by Dana Connery

I have been coming here since i moved to Nashville a few years ago. Always dependable and strait forward, the staff is professional and very pleasant. I have had many repairs done on my car here beyond just tires. Would recommend to anyone I know.

  • Jun 06, 2020 by Lauren Galloway

I called at 8:00 in the morning to see if they can look at my car I was told they could but not guaranteed because they only had one mechanic.. A hour later they called me and told me they had looked at my car and then by 12 pm it was ready to go.. I had the best experience today. Darby called me and kept me updated on my car and what the issues they saw.. will definitely be back. Thanks again..

Blew a trailer tire going from maryville tn to hot springs ar. They got me back on the road in no time. Great people, great service, great price. They will take good care of you I highly recomend.

  • May 23, 2020 by Darby Covington

Awesome, will always go back, they are so knowledgable

  • Apr 25, 2020 by Mary Cummings Jacoway

The NTB in Bellevue, TN has been my go to store for years. Darby and Lannie have proven to be very knowledgeable and honest. They have gone out of their way to answer any questions I have while getting repairs done. While also being upfront on prioritizing what needs to be fixed vs what could potentially wait. That honesty factor is what will have me continuing to use them for all future services.

  • Mar 13, 2020 by Chris Adelmann

Laney is always super helpful and runs a great store. I have never had any issues with this shop and we take 3 vehicles here.

  • Mar 01, 2020 by Victor Patrick

We had an excellent experience with the manager and people there, They took excellent care of us. Thank you very much.

  • Feb 23, 2020 by Laurel Martin

I had the same work done on first one, then the other, tire axle, on two separate occasions, and they tried to charge me more than $150 difference. The manager claimed that they'd given me discounts the first time which they couldn't offer a second time, but I was never informed this until I came to pick up my car. fortunately for me, I had already been given my keys, so, if I refuse to pay, there wasn't going to be a lot they could do about it. The manager snidely told me that she could lose her job for doing it, but she reduced the price to only about $30 more than the previous time. I told her that this is why people don't trust their car mechanic. I will definitely never go there again, even though it's the only place I could possibly walk to to pick up my car.

  • Jan 20, 2020 by Paul Leiper

Quick service and inexpensive; they do pretty much everything but engine work so tires, brakes, batteries, alignment, oil changes, transmission service and the like.

Absolutely stay away from NTB if I could give them no stars I would had a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation for $20 they charged $94 stay away from these crooks

  • Oct 24, 2019 by Christina Willard

Great service and willing to work with me, which meant so much. I really appreciated their efforts and going the extra mile for me. It was awesome!!! Highly recommend!

  • Oct 07, 2019 by Chuck T.

Stay away from NTB period they are nothing but crooks.  I had a coupon $19.99 for oil change and tire rotation and after it was done it was nearly $100 and my coupon was no good because my oil was synthetic but that's not what the coupon said so stay far away

Only go here if you're desperate. A part broke on my car and the part to fix it cost about $50. They charged me $200 in parts, another $200 in labor, and a $35 "shop fee" when I probably could have ordered the part on my own and brought it to another local mechanic. All those prices are "after the discount" as they said. Anyway, they WILL take advantage of you and squeeze every penny. Good luck.

Two days ago, I made an appointment online with NTB Bellevue to get my oil changed. When I arrived, a male employee at the checkin desk told me there would be a minimum of two hours wait. This was impossible for me, so I asked when a better time would be. He said to be there at 1 pm today. So I go for my appointment and the female employee at the front desk informed me that she does not keep appointments made online (or in person, apparently) nor will she make any appointments for customers. I was told again there would be a two-hour wait minimum because she was short-handed. And by-the-way, they've been out of conventional oil for 4-days. Synthetic would run me more than double. Jesus. I left and drove to another NTB ten miles away and had my oil changed in 40 minutes. ZERO STARS.

I have never had an issue at this location. The check in staff is always professional and do their best to work you in if you have an emergency. They will let you know what it will cost before they start. Very honest folks and great service. Wait times are typical of a service shop. I have had an appointment and also walked in. If they are short staffed and expect the service to take a while, they let you know up front.

New MGMT. Staff has this shop back on track! Great visit today!

  • Apr 26, 2019 by Travis Steinmetz

Probably fine if you need an oil change or brakes/tires. But for the love of god do not let them do any maintenance work on your car. Took it here last year and got new spark plugs as well as new cam seals. Immediately from the time I picked it up until a year later, I’ve smelt burning oil. Surprise, it’s been gushing out on my exhaust for a year.

Shoddy work and tacked on expenses, go elsewhere and you’ll save money in the long run.

  • Apr 23, 2019 by Kathryn Berrada

I really rely on the friendly, knowledgable service of the folks at this store. They promptly figure out what is wrong, and let me know how long it will be until they can fix it. The price is fair, and they communicate with me each step of the way. Great shop, will definitely keep coming back!

  • Mar 29, 2019 by JC Covington

I went in to get an oil change and just wanted to say, that this was one of the best experiences I've had at a tire store, The two ladies there were very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable,I believe it was Darby, who has been there for a long time, and the other lady was Lany, a new girl, Kinda embarrassed to say they knew more than me, I've seen all the negative remarks on here and yelp, but what people don't understand, is that every business gets short handed, and these ladies do the best that they can with what they're given. I praise any business that has to deal with the public.

  • Mar 16, 2019 by Randy DuCharme

Very disappointed. First let me state that I'm a former ASE certified master tech; made my living for 12 years as a Ford mechanic. I made an appointment for a tire balance and rotation and ONLY a balance and rotation. I walked outside for a vape break and noticed that the hood was up. There's no need to open the hood to balance and rotate tires. I asked the tech why the hood was up when the wheels are on the outside of the car. Courtesy inspection was his response. I firmly stated do NOT. ( Last courtesy inspection I got ended with a broken air filter housing and windshield washer line) A few minutes later I'm being told some nonsense about being unable to balance one of the tires because of a little excess wear on the outside edges of the tire (due to my ex running down the hwy underinflated. Aside from a little wear on the outside edges, there is nothing wrong with the tire; twas a feeble attempt to try to sell me a tire. Buyer beware. I'd avoid them altogether.

  • Feb 21, 2019 by Jacqueline London

Excellent staff. They were very helpful with explaining what I need to have done to my SUV. They were also timely in servicing my SUV. I will continue to go there for any type of service that I might need.

  • Nov 15, 2018 by Ladyheel B.

All day wait for a single tire. I left my vehicle overnight so one would think it would take been a priority the next morning. I had to call twice and the last time was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived an hour and a half later and was told it was ready even though it was still in the air on the rack. To be so expensive you would think they would provide better service.  If it hadn't been an emergency situation I would've definitely gone elsewhere.

Went in to get a tire repaired, 15 minutes later I'm leaving. Couldn't have it better.

I came here with my fiancee so she wouldn't get ripped off. Is there a way to give a location ZERO STARS? I took the time today to share my two experiences with this location. The first involved a phone call to corporate, who I've yet to hear back from, and today. About a year ago I came in to have my blower motor looked at. I'm no mechanic but with enough digging and reading case studies on the Internet, I concluded it to be the issue. I was informed at this location that the reason my AC wasn't working was because of the following: my oil needed changing, my air filters were dirty (which they weren't / I replace and clean those myself; yes I buy the expensive ones) and lastly that I was low on Freon. WHICH I WAS NOT. After letting the gentleman know I didn't agree, he laughed and said "well, good luck then" and walked off. Now to today. My fiancée calls and says "my battery is dead?". I rushed out of my house, drove to her location and jumped it off. Since we were in a bind, and knowing it's a Saturday, we thought, hey, what about National Tire and Battery. Our problem is in their name. Might as well give them a second chance. Boy was I wrong. When we arrived I saw a very checked out mentally female at the desk and already felt bad about my decision. She never made eye contact while sipping her beverage of choice and scrolling Facebook on her phone. While she was "polite" I could tell she was disinterested in letting me know that "yeah it's probably gonna be a couple hours". I said "that's fine, is there a time I could come back that would work for you?" She said "well I guess I can look but I really don't know" (no eye contact still). I smiled and walked out. I just don't understand how this place is still open. I get it. I walked in on a Saturday like another 1,000 people. This place isn't slow. It's packed right now. It's hard to see everyone that has an issue. But for Christ sake, maybe show a little empathy? Maybe show a little interest? Does it really have to be so dry? I'm done ever thinking of NTB as an option. OH LASTLY. The whole reason I came here with my fiancée is due to the fact of the PINK TAX being a real thing. Ladies, stay away.

  • Mar 31, 2018 by J. Jeffrey A.

First some back ground. I purchased tires a while back but then I started experiencing a leak in a tire. I attempted several times to simply stop by to get it repaired. It takes about 10 min to patch a tire. Each time I was told it would be several hours before they could get to it. Last time I came in they told me that if I made an online reservation I could get right in. That being said, I just got here at 7:59AM as my appointment was a 8AM. When I walked in the door she immediately started making excuses why it would take 2 hours to fix a tire. This will be my last experience at NTB. The ownership and management doesn't care about their customers, their time or reputation in the community as evidence in their prior ratings. As a side note, the woman that is typically here proves each time she simply doesn't care about her customers. When I attempted to explain to her that she was the one that told me that I should reserve online and that three people were already ahead of me at 8AM, she continued to make excuses. When I told her that her system allowed multiple appointments at the same time, she became defensive and said, "she didn't do anything". ZERO ATTENTION TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!  My goal is that Bellevue realizes that this "service center" is anything but service. Maybe if enough people make alternative choices in Bellevue, the remaining customers will get their appointment on time because of the lack of customers NTB has retained.

  • Nov 02, 2017 by Rybs A.

I wish you could give ZERO STARS. I try to not hate this place but I cannot help it. This place is awful. We have been in Bellevue for 26 years and never have we had such a place with incompetent employees that are so rude. These people make things up left and right to charge you for repairs you do not need.  They sit in the garage bays and smoke cigarettes and chit chat all the time rather than being more efficient and getting work done.   I overheard someone ask for a tire patch or tire plug and they charge $33 to do it.  I looked at the gentle man and said down the street they do it for free! The ladies response to the customer and myself was "well then go down the street then because we ain't doing it for free" That's fine, customers do not expect free service but they expect and hope for honesty and respectful dialogue.   Trust me when I tell you that you need to stay away.  I hope the owner or franchisee sees these reviews and how terrible this location is!

  • Jun 10, 2017 by Louis L.

Needing an oil change and this being the most convenient auto shop in relation to my home, I brought my vehicle to the Bellevue NTB. After the oil change had concluded I was told the my car needed a variety of work done on it, totaling around 700 dollars. I proceeded to take my car to someone trustworthy and was informed that I needed approximately 0% of the work previously suggested to me. Garbage service. Don't take your vehicle here unless you're particularly interested in getting swindled.

  • May 10, 2017 by Marina B.

if i could give them no stars that is what i would do. they are awful!!! beware of this place. they will mess your car up and then not even care!!!! went to have my tire patched and it was leaking by the next day. the next day i went to midas to have my oil changed and they fixed my tire (the right way! go midas!!!) and reported to me that ntb had actually broken off my tire sensor the day before. ntb refused to pay for my sensor they broke! awful customer service and awful place. the techs do not care about your car and are super lazy!!!! please for the love of god do not go here!!!!!!!! unless you want your car messed up.

  • Mar 03, 2017 by P B.

Buyer beware. This Bellevue TN 37221 shop enjoys profits by advising customers unnecessary work to be completed just because of the mileage on the vehicle not because NTB found a part or parts were needing repair and replacement.  They practice repair deception and who could argue the vehicle has enough mileage to warrant replacement and repairs.  In other words if the car is old, regardless it needs to be repaired even if it isn't broken. I brought my vehicle in to replace the passenger side low beam headlamp and without pulling to inspect the lamp and relay, they diagnosed the vehicle had a short in the electrical system at $110 per hour. That would have cost me hundreds of dollars trying to find a needle in a haystack, but less expensive had they pulled the headlamp to inspect the lamp and relay; a procedure taking less than 15 minutes to figure out.  Not good business and repair analysis practice.  Buyer beware and teach your wives, sons and daughters to know how a vehicle operates just in case Darby and her crooked thieves  catch you off your guard.  Stick to repair basics or find another repair facility that is more forthcoming with your vehicle and money.

  • Feb 27, 2017 by Nancy P.

Avoid this place at all costs!! They are DISHONEST and try to trick customers into unneeded repairs! I went in for a simple oil change back in early December and was told that my brakes were in really bad shape and that it would be dangerous to drive on them more than 3 or 4 more weeks. I'm no mechanic, but I know the signs of bad brakes, including squealing noise (built-in warning system on my Rav 4) and lack of sharpness. I was also told that I needed a few other repairs. I was given an estimate of $550 to replace pads and rotors, labor, etc. and another $400 for everything else. $950 total. I laughed and walked out the door. Maybe a month later, I went to Firestone (on 70 near I-40). They checked my brakes and told me I still had a fair amount of time left on my pads and my rotors were fine! I told them about NTB and they said they hear that ALL THE TIME. They were disgusted that a company could be so underhanded and dishonest, since it makes all mechanics look bad. Firestone replaced the pads and ALSO let me know that no other repairs were needed. The entire job was $180. NTB is the worst of the worst. It is appalling that management there must train and encourage the employees to lie to customers. This place should be shut down for illegal and unethical business practices.

Had an appointment for 430 the two rather large ladies at the front desk were more interested in their snacks waited for over an hour while two people that came after me were helped first because all I needed was oil change. The manager cursed and disrespected me and laughed. We left. Horrible, unprofessional and RUDE! Avoid this place at all Cost

They do not follow the schedule

  • Sep 05, 2016 by Allison L.

We brought my husband's car in for a 3:00pm appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon inspecting the car, we were told it also needed an alignment. An hour later (after several people had been turned away because the shop has no time or left angry without their car being serviced due to waiting so long) the car was brought out. The alignment had not been done, and the car has been sitting outside now for almost 40 minutes while we sit here and wait for them to take it back in, while they are in the shop chatting loudly. Incredibly unprofessional and inefficient. Don't waste your time- go somewhere else. Edit: and it is now 5:30 and we are still here. There is absolutely NO excuse for keeping customers waiting so long for such basic services, especially when we had an appointment.

  • Jun 14, 2016 by Caleb L.

The quintessential auto shop that will take every dime they can from you. Went for some transmission and timing issues. Was told that the transmission was completely shot and needed to be replaced, no thanks. Went to the next shop down the road and put a new sensor put in, new fluid. 40k miles later this thing is still kicking. Avoid this place like the plague. Not to mention their super slow oil changes.

  • Apr 09, 2016 by Logan K.

I have used this company before for various different kinds of car work and have never had a negative experience. They are very timely!

  • Feb 27, 2016 by Susan S.

They always seem dead but are always super busy when I try to make an appointment. I got a great deal on my tires with all the bells and whistles. The two tables in the lobby are tiny, high, have no outlets so I can't do much work there. I usually walk to Starbucks and wait there so I can work there. I ask them to call me when it's done and I've been told that they would, but it's been there twice but I never got a call saying it's done. I had things to do. I also get quite annoyed when these places park your car and then leave your car open. Both times my truck was left open so someone could take stuff out of it. Lord knows they wouldn't notice someone going into a car.

  • Mar 08, 2015 by Sarah M.

Be forewarned this place is CLOSED! The number listed will link you to the one in Cool Springs, yet no one on the phone will mention this. You will waste your time, like I did, driving all the way over there only to find a vacant building. When you call The Mallory Lane site, they will make you feel like an idiot bc "you should have know". NTB should know better than to close a location, not  say anything, and just forwarding the phone number to a different place. Shame on them.

  • Jan 09, 2015 by Curte S.

I have bought tires here for several years.  Prices are fair, the staff is friendly and helpfull, the are usually busy but never had to wait too long. To me a busy business generally means they are doing things the correct way.

  • Oct 27, 2014 by Erica M.

Made an appointment for 3pm.  When I arrived on time, I was told that they were running 2 hours behind, because they have to take in cars as they arrive.  When I asked why, if they took appointments, did they not reserve time for them, I was told that an appointment "just guarantees you the next bay when it becomes available".  I asked to speak to the manager, Jim, who talked down to me and told me "it was just like the doctor's office, you have to wait until they're done with the people ahead of you".  No apology, no explanation, just rude treatment.  I chose to take my business elsewhere, to Best One Tire over in Green Hills, where they took care of my car with no problem.  Will never go back to any NTB location

  • May 27, 2012 by bevibaby1

my family has lived in area forever! the service received from management after having 4 tires sidewall exploding! the young but older looking manager with glasses and saltnpeppa hair workings day shift was a complete jerk! NTB just lost my whole familys biz..that's 20 tires!!

  • Apr 23, 2012 by Terrell L.

When I walked in, there was not much action going on, a few cars in the garage bays, mechanics having coffee in the customer waiting room. The gentleman at the counter asked if I had an appointment, of course I didn't, he said it would be an hour and a half before they could get me in and wouldn't be long after that to have my oil change complete. The waiting area was pretty comfortable with a TV and complementary coffee. Almost to the minute, two hours after I arrived the mechanic came into the waiting room and told me I was ready to go. I was happy that as most places usually try to Up Sell you with everything from Tires, Break Job to a Front End Alignment, I was not subjected to the High Pressure Sales Pitch.
