Excellent spinach dip. Delicious but served with tortilla chips. Would be better with bread. Absolutely AMAZING salad in their wedge option. Iceberg lettuce with tomato, bacon, blue cheese and a delicious dressing. Voodoo pasta was good, but would try something else next time. They used a shell pasta and just seemed weird with a cheesy sauce. A little bland with the spice coming from the andouille sausage. Good, but not great. Best rating for that salad I had dreams about.

Hello. I usually don't write reviews because I kinda think they're pointless but tonight seemed different so I figured Id share since its good anyway so whats the harm. Ive been to Bar Louie a couple of times now and Ive loved it every time. From the atmosphere, to the food, drinks and staff. The lights outside especially at night feel very at home and somewhat romantic if that even makes sense but I'm here to stay for it. And on colder nights like tonight if you want to be outside they have a fireplace. Place is well kept together, clean when you walk inside. Not too loud. For a picky eater like me the food is okay. I was still able to find something that I liked even if it was just a caesar salad. Ill take 10. You can never say no to the drinks either. Diva is my favorite. Last but not least, staff is always a pleasure to be around. Tonight I had the honor of having Randall as my server. Not only did he bring my food but he also made my drinks and everything was absolutely wonderful. He had a very positive attitude the whole night and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. So if you're in town or passing through, stop by Bar Louie for something to eat or drink and experience a night like I had. You'll be glad you did.

I had such a good time at Bar Louie tonight. Shawn(Sean?)took care of me and my 11 coworkers very well. It was my homegirls birthday and we were all over the place

Me and my friends had a great time there and Randell was our server. He did a great  job keeping up with our table and making sure we were doing well !

We wanted to try out Bar Louie's $5 Burger Tuesdays, and we were not disappointed at the Bellevue location. It seems like this particular place has several regulars, but we didn't have trouble finding a table at peak dining hours around 6-7pm. We decided to opt for porch seating, but I recommend dining inside if you don't appreciate the bright street lights. The manager was kind enough to move a gigantic umbrella our way to block out most of the brightness, but just a note if you want to avoid the hassle. The food came out really quickly, and we began with their spinach and artichoke dip. While the chips were pretty flimsy for the hearty dip, the creamy richness of the sauce certainly made up for the tortilla chip vessels. I ordered the gastroburger which has caramelized onions, queso, provolone, and a garlic aioli. It was delicious but extremely heavy. I also don't think the kitchen cooked the burger as I specified, but the well done burger I had was still pretty good. I would come here if I as pressed for time, as the staff seemed to be adept at navigating large parties with several orders in rotation. There's also plenty of parking at this outdoor shopping center, so you shouldn't struggle with finding a spot before going to this location for dinner.

We had a fabulous family and friends gathering after my son's wedding rehearsal here. Weren't sure how many people would show, we forewarned management about 20-30, but ended up over 50!!! We hadn't reserved a room because couldn't commit to a number. The staff set aside the back room and took care of us all night. Excellent time. Thank you!!!

We stayed across the parking lot at Home2Suites so we managed to eat at Bar Louie twice in one day! It's soooooo convenient for a late night drink. The drinks weren't strong but its a great vibe and crowd with comfortable patio seating. I would definitely return for BRUNCH.. We had Sunday brunch which was probably one of the best brunch menus I've seen in awhile, not in variety but in combinations. The mimosas aren't technically bottomless but you can't beat 5/$10! I removed stars only because it took awhile to be served during the late night hours. I took into account that a lot of places may be short staffed right now but the waiter definitely saw me sitting and waiting at a table, he also saw my fiancé waiting at a different table (dont ask why we were at different tables lol) and he was served promptly while I waited and had to say something. Then when time to pay we requested police/military discount but we were told they didn't provide that when earlier in the day it wasn't a problem.

Tried to go here tonight 10/16/21. Stood qt door for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to notice us. The place was not busy, it is Saturday night at 5:30. The workers were too busy just hanging out and talking. Took our business elsewhere. Would have given a 0 if I could have. Obviously they must not need business in this dead establishment.

Last night we experienced the worst customer service of my life. This has nothing to do with "Covid" waitstaff issues, and everything to do with the attitude of "the boss" Miles. Our party was told that it's self-seating. We have a party of 9 and we selected a table inside as the patio was very full. We were freezing under the air vents, even after bringing sweatshirts in from the car. We asked a waiter if we could switch tables to a large patio table outside once the other occupying party is finished and they said sure. So we waited patiently, and were told we need to "jump on it" as soon as it was getting cleared. My husband and friend proceeded to clear the last bit of dishes so we could grab the large table outside when Miles walked up and started yelling at my husband that we can't switch tables. He says "you can't just clear the table! You're contaminating another table!" Which already had a pile of dirty dishes on it and the waiter had told us it would be fine. We explained the waiter told us it was fine to switch, we were cold, we were helping clear it to ensure another party didn't grab it since it's self-seating. Miles was yelling "the waiter has no authority to allow you to switch! You can't just switch tables!" While we were frustrated we said ok, we will move back. He then says "HE just said 'I'm not moving'" pointing to my 8 year old son, and then told us he won't serve us any longer and we need to leave. Mind you, I had already been at the restaurant for an hour, eating and drinking, and we were fine moving back. But Miles refused to serve us. He repeated that my son (again, the 8 year old) said he wouldn't move and thus Miles was kicking us out. I clarified, "My son? The 8 year old said he wasn't moving? He doesn't decide what I do or what my party will be doing. I apologize if he said that to you" and then Miles once again raised his voice telling us to "chug your drinks and leave". My son never said he wouldn't move, he had a mouth full of pizza. Beside the point, I have never been kicked out of a restaurant and all because we moved tables, when it's self-seating, and we had approval to do so. When we asked to speak to a manager, Miles boldly exclaimed he was the boss and we weren't welcome. Miles then went to gossip about our party, in front of us, to other tables that had witnessed the altercation. I feel bad for the harried waitstaff who could have used our large checks and tips but Miles forced away. My husband walked up to our waiter and handed him a cash tip and apologized. 5 of the 6 adults at our table own their own businesses. I would NEVER treat a customer the way we were treated. While it was certainly a miscommunication at first, Miles escalated the situation instead of deescalating it like any good manager should do. Our friends were long-time patrons and will no longer frequent Bar Louie. Please re-train your staff on how to appropriately communicate with customers.

I've been in the Restaurant Business as a professional Chef for over 15 years I've never seen such absurd service from a General Manager in my life! Miles the GM/"the Boss"  who quickly and tastelessly told our party to leave and that he refuses to serve us! Before we even had the opportunity to sit down! We weren't loud we weren't being rude, our indiscretion was helping clear a table!!!! Read on! My wife and 2 small children and a family friend were told to pick any available seat when we first came in to the restaurant, unfortunately our table that was available inside was right under the AC vent. We asked our server who was great if we were able to move outside if a table became available. He said that we "you might need to jump on the table as soon as you an open one!"  since our party was going to 9 people, "but yes that won't be a problem!"Once we saw a table come available and the other party paid their check and left we moved to the table and even help clear the table and stack cups and plates for the Bus person. Once we sat down and our full party was about to set down this is when Miles "The Boss" in his words showed up and told us that we were wrong and what we did is not allowed and not right! I explained how my family was cold and we were suggested and told to go ahead and grab a table if it came available (once again they were not seating, you chose your own table) as I explain again Miles then interrupted me and said "we'll what you did is not right and I won't serve you!" I asked why? And he came up with the statement that my young child apparently said "well we won't move" even though the were too busy playing on their iPad and phone mind you a 8 year old and 10 year old and minding their little kid business. I had to stop and ask him (Miles)if he was serious? He said " yes I won't serve you , you can leave!  you and your whole party you can leave!" So I tipped our waiter and all nine of us walked out thinking to ourselves what just really happened there! Not sure still what happened! I know though that anyone who doesn't care about their customers and cares more about their own thoughts to not even have an understanding to the customer and a situation should never be in the customer service business! Miles you should be fired or seriously trained! Not sure how you got where your at in life but you need to rethink you ultimate career choice!

Rose was our waitress for brunch this morning and she was absolutely AMAZING! The food and service was all 5 stars for me!

  • Sep 20, 2021 by Kelley F.

Rose was our server and was amazing! She was very attentive to everything we needed and brought all of our food and drinks out right away! Had a great experience here!

  • Sep 19, 2021 by Christopher S.

Had an Uber pickup order tonight. Received terrible service from the pompous boy that was bartending. Food was cold and missing items. Your employee made me feel like I was in the wrong and gave me no respect. I know it's hard to find employees right now. Yet don't settle for useless ones. Doubtful I'll ever give this location a dime. Good luck and take care.

  • Sep 17, 2021 by Chris M.

Went in there for lunch with my son after hockey. Place was empty that was probably a telltale sign. Ordered him a pepperoni flatbread pizza off the kids menu looked good when it came out. I took a bite of it... completely frozen pizza taste like it was right out of the box. I decided to get a glass of sangria... I should've known something was wrong because they didn't have a price on the menu for any other alcohol... When it came out it was full of ice and three orange slices in a 8 ounce wine glass. I had about 2 ounces of liquid in it  $11.00 I ordered the bone in wings at the recommendation of our waitress, I asked her how many wings is it's $15 seemed pretty high she said it's a huge pile.  When it shows up again disappointed as it had 10 scrawny wings.  They were mediocre at best.  The celery and carrots that came out were withered & the celery was browned on the ends. The wings did have decent flavor but for $37 (before tip).  I hate wasting $$$ on garbage food & overpriced food. Don't waste your money on this place waste of money for mediocre food at best. Over priced everything. NEVER AGAIN

The food was a four but the service was a one. That is why the total rating is a two. There were 5 of use that were there this past Monday night. Our service was rude and not very attentive even though there were very few people in the restaurant. We asked the server to split up the check per couples / individual and she split it up in 1/3 for all. When we told her that is not what we asked, she roller her eyes and spilt it up per couples but the check displayed 1/3 the price for all of our items. It was very confusing. When we mentioned this to the server, again she was rude and stated, "this is what you asked for"! The balance for all of ours still did not look right but we just payed the check and left. There are other restaurants in Bellevue besides Bar Louie that we will be visiting in the future.

  • Sep 13, 2021 by Mollie W.

This place is ran by an idiot. Way over staffed and nobody is ever here. I'm surprised that they are not shut down. Not only this, but good took forever. The poor servers have nobody to serve and they are slow. There were about 8 of them in the back corners of the restaurant and like two other guest. I don't know how they don't spend more on electricity and over staffing then actually making a gross income.

  • Sep 12, 2021 by Meghan Perkins

We had the best experience at this restaurant thanks to our waitress Miranda! She really elevated our experience with her exceptional customer service. We actually came back a second time during our stay in Nashville just to request her. We will definitely be back to request her again!

  • Aug 24, 2021 by Rose Chambers

It’s a great place to hang with friends or co-workers. But to me, the time to get a table is forever. Sitting at the bar is always a 15-20 min wait for someone to acknowledge your presence. Review as before Covid because I understand restaurants are hurting.

  • Aug 15, 2021 by Cheryl C.

So, if you want to get brunch on a Sunday.....don't. Unless you don't mind waiting 45 min. I can understand if the were full, but maybe 40%. Server got our drinks quick, but 2 meals? I watched tables of people who were there before us and several were still waiting after we got ours. Food was hot, it was good. But I had no intention of spending just short of 2 hrs for a meal. No manager to be seen.....plenty of servers, many just standing around. It'll be a while before we return. Thank you for providing us with your valuable feedback. We're disappointed to hear that our Sunday Brunch wasn't exactly to your liking. We hope you give us another chance soon, so we can share an even more positive experience.

Miranda, our server was absolutely phenomenal to my pregnant wife and I. After a long day of work for us both, we wanted a nice early evening bites. Miranda attended to our every little question and was able to help us make new choices in what we would normally get. We used to go to the bar Louie in the gulch but having since moved to Bellevue we have switched locations and look forward to grabbing Miranda as our server. She has absolutely gained new regulars and we look forward to having a quick meal with a friendly face. Thanks Bellevue Bar Louie

I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed my visit. Bar Louie is a place that I come when I want a decent drink and food with a low key ambiance. Bellevue location is probably the best offer for that out of the locations in Nashville. I would say it is much better than Jonathan's and The Goat, but with a similar vibe and crowd that would frequent the aforementioned. The happy hour is what draws me in the most. They always keep the quality of cocktail regardless if it is cheaper than during regular hours. It is a nice place to just relax and spend an evening without much expectations for trying to be formal. It is a relaxed place you can just enjoy a drink with friends a partner. I enjoy the sports bar low key vibe that it throws. When it comes to customer service, that would be a 3 on the scale of 1 to 5. I feel that it can be spotty and inconsistent unless you're sitting at the bar. I don't like having to ask for the same thing 3 and 4 times and that has happened several times on various visits. I have come to accept that when coming here, but maybe it will change at some point. As far as the 4 stars on here, I generally do like it here and if it weren't for the customer service, it could be a solid 5. Mary! I love seeing this!! This is what we strive for! Come back soon and let us know what we can do to go from 4 to 5 stars in your book!!

The was food was fantastic. Our server Terri was so wonderful and really added to the overall experience. Their burgers are unbelievable and signature cocktails were excellent!! I will be returning soon.

Conveniently located near the Home2 Suites in Bellevue, it was an easy and short walk across the street for dinner. We enjoyed great burgers and sides - I highly recommend the broccolini - and excellent choice of cold beers on tap, including some locals. Service was also excellent, thanks again Wyatt.

  • Jul 09, 2021 by Liam M.

Recently bought a place in West Nashville and have been to Bar Louie three times.  The service has gotten worse with each visit.  First major problem:  Seat yourself.  Each time we've gone, the bartender told us to take any table and we waited for 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and take a drink order.  A host would mitigate this nonsense.  Second problem:  no apparent front-of-house manager to check on customers.  One of our visits we sat at a dirty table for ten minutes and it only got cleaned because I pulled a waiter aside and asked for it.  Bellevue is sadly lacking in decent casual fare and this is Bar Louie's game to lose. And lose they will if they don't tighten up their customer service and hire some managers that know how to manage a business.  Epic fail!

  • Jul 05, 2021 by T Frierson

First time at this location and the service was great. Our server/bartender was Emily and she made some delicious drinks. The food was good and hot too. I'll definitely be back!

  • Jul 05, 2021 by Mackenzie V.

Such great food & atmosphere!! Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

  • Jul 04, 2021 by Michael J.

The bar/ wait staff is very friendly and personable. We told the manager that Liam ( server) and Priscilla the bartender is great!  They are only open until 10 pm so that is something you should be aware of.  They are good other than that. Hi Michael, thank you for posting your positive review. Our team here at Bar Louie is committed to providing high-quality customer service, and we're thrilled to hear that we made a good impression on you. We hope you'll visit us again soon.

Bar Louie is our favorite restaurant in Bellevue. We love the waiters and waitresses. Constance was our waitress and she took care of us tonight. She is attentive and helpful. We asked for what to drink and she knew exactly what to ask and tell us. It's like she read our mind. Our overall experiences here are always the best and nothing less. My boyfriend who had one Long Island top shelf tea and one strawberry lone star says they are *bussin'*. Hi Cynthia, Thanks for the great review! It is truly touching to know you think so highly of us! We look forward to providing you with more great experiences in the near future. It was a pleasure to serve you.

  • Jun 25, 2021 by Luna G.

I love going to this location particularly because there is always somewhere to park. I love sitting at the bar because the bar staff is the best. And if something is wrong they always know how to make it right!!!! Thank you for your review. We're happy to know that we've exceeded your expectations and look forward to continuing to do so!

  • Jun 19, 2021 by Courtney McMahon

You’re better than this. I love this place, but took 30 minutes to get a drink and over an hour for food. For what we were paying I was expecting a lot more!

  • Jun 12, 2021 by Brennen Westbrook

I have never written a review, positive or negative, for somewhere that i have eaten. But my girlfriend and I left this place so frustrated that I couldn't help myself. The ONLY positive that I can think of was that the ranch and marinara sauce were yummy but that's where the positives stop. We had to seat ourselves, no issue there, but after the host gave us water it took nearly 30 minutes for our waitress to take our order, but we had to ask her when we saw her walking by. She was rude about it and only came back to our table to give us the check after we got our food. Also, the food was "meh" at best. My girlfriend's chicken was pretty much rubber, and my French dip was extremely bland.
Please don't waste your time or money here!

  • Jun 12, 2021 by Corey C.

was told to sit anywhere we wanted, got menus 5 minutes after sitting down, waited another 10 minutes and nobody ever came to out table! Horrible service! Never again! This was about the same service we had last time! Totally done! Corey, I sincerely regret that happened to you and your party. I care deeply about our guests and it's clear to me that our team needs some more training on how to ensure all are guests are always attended to and well cared for. We are committed as a team to providing a great dining experience. This is our teams #1 priority. We hope you give us another chance soon, so we can share a more positive experience. Sincerely, Mike Frimenko

I come here often. The happy hour deals are insanely good and the food is nothing short of amazing. I’d try to recommend individual menu items, but then I’d just be listing out the menu… I highly recommend this place to anyone that will listen

  • Jun 08, 2021 by Katie M.

This place is beyond overrated!!! Paid $60 for mediocre food. My pasta had 3 pieces of shrimp and the drinks are expensive! Did The servers are great though and friendly Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Katie. Our team works hard to provide customers with the best support possible and we apologize that this wasn't your experience. We'd like to better understand what happened and how we can make things right, so please reach out to us at BLBellevue@barlouie.com or (615) 733-4400.

Me and my boyfriend go here quite often since it’s open when we both get off work and it’s close by (we get off pretty late). The food is so good! I’m not old enough to drink but my boyfriend loves the drinks and the Virgin cocktails are delicious as well. Our server Liv was such a sweetheart and gave us excellent service. We will definitely be coming back especially to have Liv serve us again. She deserves a RAISE!!

  • Apr 19, 2021 by MarkMM55

First visit...very enjoyable and my wife announced the hamburger sliders as the best she has ever had. I stole a bite and had to agree that they were really good. I had the pulled pork sandwich with the loaded tater tots. Probably won’t get the pulled pork again...not because it was bad, but rather I want to see if their burgers are as good as the sliders. Plenty of options to try on the menu. Service was fine and the beer was cold. So..a-ok in our book for another visit!

Loved it here! The atmosphere was very professional and clean, with a great open design and vibe. Ricardo was the absolute best, he did sleight of hand magic for us for a half hour, and kept making jokes about his mother in law, classic! I was ready to blow my brains out by the end, highly recommend.

  • Apr 03, 2021 by Erica Brotherton

Such an excellent experience! Our server Randall was extremely attentive and had great suggestions on food. The food was fantastic but the customer service was a 10/10. The manager Kendra (think that was her name) was absolutely amazing as well! She’s checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was great. Highly recommend!!

  • Apr 03, 2021 by Theresa Walton

Love the atmosphere of this place. Our waiter Randall was amazing and provided excellent service. Kenya also made sure to check on us and make sure we were doing well. The food was great as well. Wonderful location for hanging out with friends!

  • Apr 03, 2021 by Keiland Dunigan

My dining experience with my friends was absolutely AMAZING!!! Our server was Randall and he was the best server that I think I’ve ever had! He was attentive to our needs, replaced items before we even asked and made our overall experience great! The manager (Kenya) checked to ensure our dining experience was great and indeed it was! Will DEFINITELY be coming back!

I would've given a 5 but their waitress Terri made it seem as though she didn't want to serve a table of eight. We traveled here from Charleston, SC, for a wedding. We ordered plenty of food and the adult beverages were flowing. At the end, she finally showed her true colors by asking "is it ticket time?" What server does that, especially to a table of 8? We paid our bill, which was over $200 and would've been higher if she wasn't anxious to dismiss a group of professional minorities.

  • Mar 22, 2021 by Jene Lely

Just dropped in for a couple drinks and an appetizer. Decent service, tables were spaced enough for my covid comfort, waitstaff were masked correctly. Food was tasty if not spectacular.

  • Mar 20, 2021 by Carly M.

I love this spot! Not only is it close to where I live but the food is consistently good, as are the drinks. I love their specials and their happy hours are hard to beat! I won't lie, I'm addicted to their flatbreads and boneless Buffalo wings. The chicken is very tender and juicy and they make sure the wings are coated in the sauce! Because who wants dry wings?? The entire staff is very personable, friendly, and attentive. Whenever my friends are visiting from out of state, Bar Louie is always our first stop!

  • Mar 13, 2021 by Ashley Rogers

Happy hours prices were great. The flat bread was awesome.

Wine during happy hour is $5.50. Wine after happy house is over $13/glass.....didn’t realize we were in such a high end establishment.

  • Mar 05, 2021 by Elizabeth S.

We love bar louie. We stopped in to get some snacks and drinks. Chanel was our waitress and she was awesome!!! So friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our evening. We will definitely be back here! Ask for Chanel as your server!! Thank you so much Elizabeth! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your evening, and that Chanel did such a wonderful job! We hope to see you again soon.

The patio has an awesome atmosphere. It's very relaxing and the area doesn't have a lot of cars so you can just sit back and people watch with a drink.

Loved this place! If I ever visit Tennessee again, I will make it a point to come back here. Workers were all friendly and the food was great!

  • Feb 24, 2021 by Candice S. (C. Wanderer)

As a individual who loves food and the nightlife I must say this place is pretty cool. Welcoming staff and great views of the area. Right across from the Ford Predators Rink and right next door to the movie theater. It's great. They offer outdoor seating and indoor. With safety guideline in place. I go for the wings. I always request my wings fried hard. They're great. Totally worth it.

  • Jan 15, 2021 by Timothy Bice

The slowest kitchen in the history of restaurant kitchens. Idk what they are doing ha I there but the restaurant will be dead and you will still wait 20-30 minutes for a simple item. Food is okay, service sucks, slow kitchen.

  • Jan 09, 2021 by Clayton Clark

This place has bomb chicken nachos! Their green tea shot is dangerously smooth as well. Definitely a great food spot and their bar program is well rounded.

  • Jan 08, 2021 by Travel541683

I came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We ate outside, tables were marked clearly for social distancing, and we enjoyed delicious roasted veggie flatbread and great drinks! Although they did not have a Malbec, the server recommended the Chateau Smith pinot noir which was delicious! We split the pizza and it was just perfect!

  • Dec 19, 2020 by Misty N.

The place was virtually empty when we walked in. Thought it was because of COVID. Nope.....it's just awful. We sat at the bar and the cute one of the two bartenders acknowledged our existence and asked us what we'd like to drink. She was awesome! The other one was too lazy to care about anything other than her phone. She finally walked by and said 'y'all doin ok' and we gave her our order. Food finally comes out and it's dinky portions and terribly cold. Needless to say we sent it back and finished our drinks. Do not eat here. Going to Chili's now so we can get food. Thank you Priscila for being the only highlight of our visit tonight!

  • Dec 16, 2020 by Jill C.

Visited during girls trip and during COVID. Thankful they were open for a good lunch. Salmon sliders were yummy. Also got the pretzel bites, loved the cheese dip with them but not the honey mustard. Daughter and friends got the Caesar salad and they were yummy too. Would stop in again for a quick bite!

  • Dec 13, 2020 by Tee Z.

The service here is below average. They have Plenty of people working, all of whom seem to be running around in circles. They place a priority on the takeout orders, rather than the people sitting in the restaurant. The food is decent, but the bartenders and servers are just awkwardly slow. This is located in the trendy section of Bellevue, which during normal times could be quite busy. It's got a nice atmosphere, and a lot of good looking people go in there, if you know what I mean. Just be prepared to wait

Had a great time. We have been here a few times prior to tonight. I discovered the cheesesteak sandwich tonight and it was seriously the best sandwich that I’ve ever ate in my life. I’m almost 40.

Emily was an amazing bartender, hadn't been to a bar louie in a long time and I'll definitely be back to see her!!

First time visitor yesterday. Grabbed a BBQ burger and had it cooked well done. I was greeted immediately by multiple employees and the food came out on time as quoted on the confirmation email. I will be back.

I had never been to this location but was glad to grab a bite, a drink and some catch up with two friends here. They have a digital menu which isn't obvious when you sit down, and while I appreciate it, it's not very intuitive to navigate. After finally finding the beer selection (not the greatest but still had a few options and on happy hour still!) I had my drink order in with my table mates. I normally get the fish tacos but tonight I opted for the salmon sliders and let me tell you...the best choice. The salmon was cooked perfectly, with a great sauce that didn't overpower the slider and the perfect side portion of fries. It was a spot on portion size and delicious. My table mates enjoyed their fish tacos and pepperoni flatbread. They also had great cocktails as well. The room itself was a bit warm even for a mild evening outside. Our waitress was attentive and patient as I scrolled the beer menu while also being safe with wearing a mask. Good environment with a cozy atmosphere and darker lightning. They have patio seating with a small fireplace for chillier nights. It's a great little spot tucked into the main square there in Bellevue near the movie theater.

The bartender was completely in the weeds with 5 people at the bar and maybe 3 tables he was making drinks for. We ordered nachos as an appetizer and asked if they were coming up 30 minutes after we ordered them. We were told they were almost ready. After another 15 minutes I asked to cash out our drinks and the bartender told us he forgot about us. No effort was made to rectify the situation. Absolutely terrible service.

Good place to grab a bite and have a cocktail or so. The food was tasty and they had very good sauces. The "new old fashioned" and the cucumber gimlit both had good flavor. They were a little stingy for the price on the pour but not bad. I'd go back.

  • Oct 25, 2020 by Rob Tulloh

My Elyx drink came as expected in the copper martini glass. Old fashioned had too much cinnamon. An okay place for an afternoon drink and we felt safe sitting outside. Service was good. Ample parking with good selection of restaurants nearby.

  • Oct 24, 2020 by Kate Allocco

I had such a great experience here, mainly due to our AWESOME bartender Emily! She knows her stuff when it comes to liquors and is extremely personable and attentive. On top of that, their bottomless mimosa and other drink specials are tough to beat! Will definitely be coming back weekly from this point forward

I went for lunch with my father who is hard of hearing and we sat in a banquette on the back wall. it was a good spot away from speakers. It was a late lunch and the burgers were fantastic and properly prepared to temperature. Between atmosphere and good food, Dad brought the good conversation.

Have been here a few times and each time have had to wait a very long time to be acknowledged by any staff member. The last time we tried to go we were told it’s open seating. We sat down and waited ten minutes without a server coming over. We ended up leaving an going to another’s establishment in One Bellevue Place.

  • Oct 03, 2020 by Danielle Burr

I gave 4 instead of 5 because I just wish their was more consistency with the service and food. Sometimes we get really slow service (where our food arrives before our drinks even do- not kidding, that has happened), and other times we have amazing service. I've noticed the bartenders seem to be better than the general servers. My husband and I dont really like going here for lunch or dinner because of the food but their brunch menu is off the chart! They have an awesome mimosa special on the weekends too for brunch. All around- if your looking for a social place, not bad. If your looking to actually eat really good food for the price- ehhh go somewhere else.

  • Sep 20, 2020 by Marjorie Pess

The waitress was rude and seemed to not care to wait on us. She put her hands on the table and we just felt a bit unease. We are just trying to have fun. we had to look up the menu on our phones because there was no paper menu to look at. The appetizer was a bit burned so we ate it. It was okay eating the bit burned appetizer. The only staff that was nice was Management. So we decided to leave as soon as possible. The main dishes were not burnt and was really good. plus, We did not get our full change back from the waitress. so I am not sure if they were experiencing a cash shortage, but they need to warn customers about the lack of change before they go in.

  • Sep 20, 2020 by David Harkness

We had waited for our food. The waitress was very disrespectful, putting her hands on the table and over looking us. Plus she took a .94 cent tip out of $2.94 for our return change. Plus the pretzels were burnt and I just want to get out of there. Management was nice and pleasant. Plus the waitress lied about doing a paper menu and we had to look up the menus ourselves. Not worth the money or time to go there ever again.

  • Sep 19, 2020 by Benson Joseph

If you come here, request Emily. She took care of us beyond reproach. My date broke the glass and she was gracious the whole time. Can’t wait to do brunch here again. She was amazing. Ask for her next time you come.

Trying out bar louie for the 1st time.. this california chicken sandwich is good

  • Sep 09, 2020 by Laura Kerley

    Be careful when ordering online.
They did not get my order that I placed online through their website. When I got there I was helped and that is when I showed where it went through & I had got a email receipt. A few tried to help but they sent me to the manager & said it would be 10min but closer to 30 with no comp. But we did get it. Not sure about ordering anytime soon.
So with this all said double check to make sure they got your order.

  • Sep 04, 2020 by J L.

Sophie was our wait person extraordinary. Food was excellent. Drinks were out of this world (loved the $3 shots) and the service was the best. Stop by and support Bar Louies.

  • Aug 29, 2020 by Joanna Mazo

A server dropped a hot cast iron skillet on the table and it burned my arm. It almost fell on my dog who was on my lap, but thankfully it just barely missed him. I was offered burn cream by another server and that was all. Both servers then carried on as if nothing happened. I guess they didn't care. No manager ever addressed the incident with me and I did not receive an apology. I cannot believe the situation was not taken seriously and I will not be returning. I now have a 3 inch scar across my arm to remind me of the terrible experience I had at Bar Louie.

  • Aug 29, 2020 by Annabel C.

The bartender put her bare hands in my glass and touched the ice during a pandemic. I also saw her pull her mask under her nose multiple times

  • Aug 29, 2020 by Mckylie J.

I am very unsatisfied with the food and bartender. the bartender used curse words in front of my children and she continuously threw empty bottles in the trash can and they shattered everywhere. Most of the employees also were not fully wearing their masks. The chicken was very under seasoned. The vegetables were not very fresh, and had brown spots. Overall i do not recommend this restaurant.

  • Aug 09, 2020 by Amy Webster

8/9/2020: Appears they are understaffed. Our server Mason had anywhere from 5-7 tables at a time while 2 other girls did nothing but walk around and tell people walking in "it's open seating". The so called "bartender" had to look up how to make every drink except mamosa, and spent more time away from the bar than behind it. Servers many times had to make their own drinks. Poor poor management- if there even were any, which we never saw. But Mason was amazing through it all.

  • Jul 23, 2020 by Makenna Roberts

VERY GOOD! 11/10. i got a caesar salad and street tacos and they were delicious! best salad ever and very flavorful tacos! the waiter was also super kind!

  • Jul 08, 2020 by Nathaniel Scates

Service can be a little bit hit or miss, but the happy hour specials make this a good weekday afternoon stop.

  • Jun 16, 2020 by Steven Paul

We ordered the Louie’s Choice Cheeseburger and it was mediocre at best. Zero seasoning on the burger and the cheese wasn’t melted. It seemed like a frozen patty but that might have been because it was cooked so well done despite me requesting medium for the temp. The reason why it got a second star was because of the bartender that took our order. She was charming, funny and efficient. Get it together Louie!

  • Jun 13, 2020 by Richard Campbell

Awesome food. As someone who is high risk for COVID-19, I can take some pleasure in enjoying Bar Louie. I ordered through Doordash (though not ideal, I'm cancelling Doordash due to inflated pricing in our area) and I have zero complaints. Bar Louie gets it right! I'm usually pretty critical of restaurants in general, but wow. The ONLY thing I could even fathom complaining about, is high prices thanks to Doordash. However, outside of that, thanks Bar Louie!

  • May 15, 2020 by Wendy P.

I'm giving them a 3 star rating because I've eaten at this restaurant before and the service and food were fine.  Not bad, not great, but ok.  Since Covid-19 and everyone ordering for delivery, the food quality has really gone down.  I've read the ingredients to their pepperoni flatbread that my son usually orders, and well it's a pepperoni flatbread, everyone knows how to make one, the ingredients are simple right?  Apparently Bar Louie off Sawyer Brown thinks the ingredients to a pepperoni flatbread are too simple that they've decided to start adding vinegar soaked carrots, cauliflower, jalapeños and onions to it without even updating their menu.  This is absolutely disgusting and as soon as you open the box there is a strong aroma of vinegar. It has been twice now that I've ordered this for delivery and received it with vinegar veggies.  The first time I brushed it off as a fluke, assuming maybe the person boxing the food was careless because they were busy and they spilled over these disgusting veggies on the food.  With the pandemic and restaurants taking a hit, I let it go, didn't complain or ask for my money back, as I was assuming it was an accident.  But now i've received the same exact thing a second time, they've updated their menu to make it worse, but they did not update their ingredients on the menu, so yeah I'm writing a review about this and asking for my money back.  Do not order the pepperoni flatbread from this place, it's absolutely disgusting.

This has been the most efficient pick up system during COVID that I have encountered. Food was ready in 15 minutes. It was ready to go when I arrived with contactless pickup. Food was hot and tasty. Fried dishes could have used a sprinkle of salt, but we are very pleased with our dinner choice tonight and will return soon.

  • Mar 10, 2020 by Erika P.

2.5 stars. It's a shame the food is so good (a little overdressed salad, but good.) because the service is pretty bad. Was there tonight for dinner and while Priscilla (I think that's her name? I kept hearing it yelled across the bar.) was hustling and super nice, the other bar tender, one with a big dolphin necklace were rough. Took 8 mins to get a menu (3 bartenders, pretty slow bar.) because chatting it up with regulars, checking phones and getting cut was more important. Even then it was, "Yes?" like how dare I sit at her bar. No water or silverware at any point until I asked. No return check-in. Chili, which I asked for first, sat in the window long enough to get a nice film on the top layer and melt the sour cream. Still ate it. I was STARVING. And it tasted okay. Been to a lot of Bar Louis'. How disappointing.

  • Mar 08, 2020 by Private Person

We went to the Bellevue location yesterday. There were issues with the food because the store had no supplies due to the tornado. However the manager, Kimberly was an absolute gem in trying to make sure our table was taken care of. Although the experience was not the best, she was splendid and handled it very well. Because of her we will visit again.

  • Mar 04, 2020 by Brad H.

Been coming since this place opened. Problem is last few months this place has gotten worse. The staff takes forever to take a order, the when you're waiting they are never around to serve you. Half the time the order is wrong, drinks are late and they avoid when you're ready to pay check.

  • Mar 01, 2020 by Tidy Little Chicken

Average food. Atmosphere is loud and sometimes the service is slow. We went for $5 burger night last week and sat without silverware for a good ten minutes. My food was fine, but cold from waiting on silverware. Speciality drinks are good, just come prepared for a kinda pricey meal that could easily be better somewhere else. Also, it's 2020. Gluten free buns are needed for your sandwiches and hamburgers. Staff is mostly friendly and accommodating, just not always fast.

  • Feb 20, 2020 by Cynthia Washington

Boyfriend & I had a great time during our visit. The service was fast & enjoyable. The atmosphere was quiet & relaxing. Rainey was a joy throughout as a server/bartender & our Martinis were amazing. We will definitely return.

  • Feb 12, 2020 by Jason Bea

My wife and I enjoy going here for appetizers and drinks. It is usually fairly crowded, but if you go just a little bit early, it is fine. We got there around 5:30pm, and had no trouble being seated. The hostess was extremely nice, opened the door for us, and sat us at a table very quickly. The waitress was friendly as well. We have had a couple issues with our food orders in the past, but not as much lately. The food is always good, and they have a great selection of beers and cocktails. We enjoy this Bar Louie, and plan on continuing to visit as long as they are open.

  • Feb 07, 2020 by Cissy W.

Stopped by during Happy Hour and availed ourselves of some of the Happy Hour specials. Martini's were 5.50 and flatbreads 1/2 off. Our server was very polite, though a bit eager to bus our plates. Their ads promote a stay and linger atmosphere and she was expressing move long. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and assume she was new and just being attentive. The drinks were tasty, arrived without drama. Flatbreads actually arrived sequentially which worked for us and we ordered 2 but had planned to share both. The BBQ pork and pineapple was tasty, tangy and the flatbread was crispy. Plenty of topping, no undressed flatbread hanging out the sides.  We also ordered the Veggie, which was good. This spot seemed busy, even on a Tuesday eve. It strikes me as a spot the local neighbors frequent, which is a compliment!

Total hit or miSs on food and service. We have had more hiccups then amazements. Medium well burger came out raw, waitress noted it wasn't right and never came back to the table! Twice I have had things with onions and gotten multiple bites of onion skins. There seems to be no manager presence. The recipes are not consistent with the gultch store. When the food is right it is delicious! And the drinks are normally good as well.

  • Jan 22, 2020 by Rachel G.

I had rancid tuna! It was not edible. I ate one bite and was sick all night & the next day. I told the waitress while I was still there that the tuna was rotten. She spoke to the manager. The manager told her to tell us that they couldn't do anything and I would need to call corporate.  The waitress said she would take it off the bill, but I told her not to. I just wanted the chef to be aware so they wouldn't serve it to anyone else. I can't believe the manager didn't come to the table to apologize. We were very nice to the waitress the entire time. She told us her manager cut her, which wasn't fair because the situation was not her fault. The night manager needs to learn how to treat customers when there is a problem & how to treat her employees fairly!!! My friend and I will never go back again!

Best happy hour in Bellevue! Great for $5 burger Tuesday's! We love the bartenders and the rest of the staff are great! Best bar in Bellevue! Amazing food and drinks,  and the best staff around! Awesome atmosphere!

I love Bar Louie. The Luigi sandwich is my favorite. Always get great service. The writers night on Wednesday has great talent too. Happy hour has great deals...

  • Jan 19, 2020 by Hillary B.

Service was horrible. Always an empty glass and food took forever to come out. We were here before a lot of people and we still could not get our food (burger and mac and cheese). Waitress only came to check on us a handful if times.

  • Jan 15, 2020 by Brad H.

You can tell the front house manager here really cares about her job and the restaurant. When I was there there were some hiccups on service due to a very busy rush with happy hour and the $5 dollar burger promo and some operational challenges during the visit. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The manager I could tell though was way overworked for all she was trying to handle at once but did it with a smile and genuine service. Having worked retail for many years I know things go wrong no matter how great your store is but it is how they resolve the situation that counts and the manger Tuesday evening January 14th is a great one who will do what is right.

  • Jan 14, 2020 by John M.

I have eaten here several times and there is always some kind of issue with getting our food served at the same time as everyone else at the table. There is always something incorrect about one or more of our orders and even the last time we ate here we ordered a dessert of these little donuts that literally reads "a bakers dozen" on the menu  and we had to argue with the server that six is not a bakers dozen. On more than one occasion we have attempted to dine here and have been rudey shoo'd away by a hostess and this past Friday it was by the actual Manager over claims that the kitchen was full and that it would be at least 45 minutes to get seated even though there were literally a dozen or more empty tables.  That was the final straw for us. Not going back.  And really not gonna miss it. This place isn't anything special and clearly no one wants to even work there so why should we want to eat there? So many better options with better food and service all over this city.

  • Jan 14, 2020 by Mookie C.

Listen, I'm not just some guy. This food is f*cking amazing. The atmosphere; seductive. The clothing; safe, but tasteful. The dictionary defines superlative as: of the highest kind, quality, or order, surpassing all else, or others. Supreme." I define it as, Bar Louie. As a restaurant, a workplace, and a home....they are of the highest kind, quality, and order. Supreme.

  • Jan 08, 2020 by Aurora K.

I wish that I could say that the food at Bar Louie is excellent every time you come here. That is sadly, not the case. I've been to this location twice, once on a regular Tuesday night and once on Christmas Eve. Tuesdays are definitely the best days to come because of their $5 burger deal. It's such a good deal that it's hard to justify going anywhere else on a Tuesday. The first time I came here with some friends and ended up getting the Nacho Burger (I think that's what it's called) it has guacamole, tortilla chips, and a fried jalapeño on top. All of this sounds amazing to me, so I went for it. Well... the jalapeno was definitely NOT fried. In fact, it was cold and not cooked at ALL. We asked our server about this and he said that they flash fry it so it's only cooked for a couple minutes. Trust me though, I know what a fresh jalapeno looks like. This was most definitely fresh from the grocery store and not cooked. So I took it and sliced it up and put it on my burger because I still like the spice they add to a burger. The second time I came here, I ordered the same thing because I was curious as to if the server was screwing with me and didn't feel like telling the kitchen that they messed up an order, or if they just needed to update the wording on their menu. This time I was not disappointed by the burger. This jalapeno was fried! Or at least cooked. The service on the other hand, definitely left something to be desired. Granted, it was Christmas Eve, and they were clearly short staffed. I don't blame them for that. But it was pretty clear that they had no actual plan of attack. Our server was also taking orders for people on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from us and there was another server in our area who was running around like a chicken with her head cut off (the poor girl ended up falling down she was running around so much). There were hardly any customers in our area and the three tables on our half of the restaurant each had a different server (literally the table next to us had someone different than we did) and it took twice as long for our order to come out as it did the people next to us (they sat down after we did). Our server was a nice guy, but was definitely using them being short staffed as an excuse to why he was so behind when the table next to us literally ordered, got their food, ate it, and left, in the time it took our server to take our order and again, they sat down after us. I'm totally understanding of being short staffed, though as someone who used to work in the service industry, I do think that no matter how short staffed you are, you should never let your customer know this and they should receive the same service they would have gotten if you were fully staffed.

Food was amazing, service was amazing and the manager,Kimberly, is so friendly. She made us feel like we were in the best place in town. It was an enjoyable night. We have lived near a Bar Louie’s for about a year & never been tempted to go. After our trip to Nashville, we can’t wait to try the one at the Franklin Park Mall in Ohio!

  • Dec 28, 2019 by Luke S.

This was awful. The honey chicken sandwich was terrible and one of our orders was not brought out and we had to ask for it. It was not busy and we waited an hour for food. When it was time to pay, our waitress disappeared and the manager could not find her. She eventually came and acted like nothing happened. Our salads did not have any dressing and larger parties who came in after us were served significantly sooner.

  • Dec 27, 2019 by Chris Cavolo

it's just dropping in consistently and quality. we went for a quick dinner Sunday night and it was not crowded but it took 2 hours!! food was all average to poor. burgers seem to be only thing they can do consistently. I'm sure it's the lack of consistent help like most Nashville restaurants, but they need to pay better then to keep some people. everyone is new everytime I come in. not sure we will go back anymore, my kids used to love it, now they said they are done. i think I agree...shame really...i liked have a place like that in Bellevue

  • Dec 21, 2019 by Rebecca H

We ducked into Bar Louie to escape the craziness of holiday shopping. It was around noon on a Saturday - very few tables but plenty of drinkers at the bar. Our waitress knew next to nothing about the menu and absolutely nothing about the beers on draft. Getting our drinks took FOREVER. The food was fine. Getting our second round took another bout of FOREVER. So did getting our bill. Everyone who worked there disappeared at one point. Terrible service.

  • Dec 19, 2019 by Brittainy B.

This is my neighborhood bar and I have so many things to say....the management team and bartenders have always been so helpful and accommodating.  Come in any night and you'll meet Shekinah, Dana, Joe, or James.  Wonderful bartenders and so full of personality! The management team here is so nice and willing to help with anything you need.  I love coming here and will continue to come here for a long time!

  • Dec 18, 2019 by Holly W

We went in around 9 pm and ordered a drink. We also ordered a couple bar bites. They were fine. Nothing special I'm afraid. The prices were a little more than expected.

  • Dec 17, 2019 by Julian G.

A friend and I came here on a Tuesday night because of their special on hamburgers, but we weren't impressed. We sat at the bar because we thought we might get better service there, but we were wrong. The bartender was nice and all, but her service was TERRIBLE. We had to reminder her about the beer I ordered and my friend had to remind her about the coke he ordered, and we had to ask for refills all night. Our bartender needs to learn how to hustle, like the manager I saw, who was darting around the restaurant like the superhero, Flash.  Having said that, this restaurant could use the help of a host or hostess, to help keep some kind of order. Instead, I saw 3 people sit themselves at an 8-top, while 7 people squeezed into a 4 or 5-top booth. This kind of nonsense happened all night long. This place has a great ambiance and  it could be a really cool place to go, but something has to be done about their service before I'd ever consider it.   By the way, my friend's hamburger wasn't cooked as he requested, but it was taken care of relatively quickly ...once he was able to flag down our bartender.

First visit - was reluctant when seeing the average 3 star review. Suffice it to say 2 stars might be generous.  Sat at bar at 6.45 and ordered nachos and drinks. Food arrived cold, like really cold 30 minutes later. Another 25 minutes later no replacement food. Very apologetic bartender (Dana) with a promise to comp everything. We had to leave when suddenly nachos (Luke warm) arrive unannounced, like they magically appeared 5 minutes after no-one could find them. I worked in the restaurant business for years - there are real intrinsic problems here that need fixing.

Went on Saturday 1130 am. Not too busy. Waited 45 minutes for food. Burger okay. Turkey club was mostly bread. $13 for burger is too much. Tots were good. Looked like a lot of drinkers.

Bartender seemed sad and inattentive. Bar area very dirty. ☹️ Not like our Bar Louie in Murfreesboro....

  • Nov 02, 2019 by Libby B.

No no no. Just say no. Live close......try all of the time to make it work but when will I learn. Whole wait staff standing around  and for three drinks took us 45 min and finally had to get a manager who was unconcerned but did manage to get us our check. No!!  Other Bar Louis are great but for some reason this one cannot get it together even after a couple of years. And whatever you do.......DO NOT EAT THE FOOD!

  • Nov 02, 2019 by Don K.

The service here is terrible.   One drink and it took calling a manager to get someone to bring our check.  I live here and have finally given up on this place.   Food is horrible and service is worse.

After traveling to Nashville.. we found this new restaurant while shopping.. There was a big crowd for happy hour and so we decided to try it and also eat dinner...we sat at the bar and a sweet bartender named Emily waited on us... The food was good and the drinks were too..... got the bill (55.77) and paid the bill with my debit card.. left Emily a cash tip of 10.00 and wrote on the receipt (on the tip line) - CASH ON TABLE and totaled out by bill of 55.77... Last night when checking my account. I see where Bar Louie charged me 74.77 (WHAT?) That is a 27.00 tip for MS. EMILY... So if you don't care about being ripped off.. Eat here..... If you use a card to pay.... watch what you are charged... PS. I disputed the charge EMILY!!!! and I promised to mention you on trip advisor,, so here you are.

Stopped by with a friend on a weeknight before our movie at AMC and the service we received was PHENOMENAL!! I wish I could remember the young lady’s name, but I’m sure I will see here again so I will add it then. She understood our time constraints and was quick in efficient for us to get in and out and I really appreciated that. The half off appetizers were good too!

My friend and I went to lunch at Bar Louie for the first time yesterday. I just waited a day to post this so I could cool off. The 2 young women who were our servers were completely indifferent to our table. We asked for lemon slices for our water, which never came. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. My friend's food was terrible and mine was tolerable. But what bothered us was the complete lack of customer service. I didn't complain to the manager because I knew I would NEVER go back. Maybe the night staff is better.

This was our second visit to this location, and once we started the wait for our food, I wondered what I was thinking by returning. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food. I ordered the turkey club, and what came was so unappetizing, I declined it. It was a 1/2" thick slab of cold turkey with thick, fatty skin hanging off. No bacon or giardiniera aioli was on it as stated on the menu and it was on cold, untoasted bread. My daughter's Mac and cheese was room temp, my husband got a burger he did not enjoy at all. When I let the waitress know I did not want my sandwich, she agreed with me how nasty the meat looked and said the kitchen had been messing up tons of orders. We won't be back. P.S. please consider not putting plastic straws in every drink, regardless of whether or not the customer wants one. It is pretty wasteful of a plastic product.

not great.  Once ordered, food and drink took a really long time.  Specialty cocktails taste like they are pre-made, with a lot of sugar.  The pork "wings" were really dry, and the pizza we ordered was missing a key ingredient (I forgot it was a bbq-style until I looked at the menu again and realized it was missing a main aspect of the topping).  The wait staff doesn't seem happy at all - most food went to several tables before it found the right person.  When it was time to close out we were provided with the wrong ticket twice, and they forgot to charge the happy-hour price for an item (which our server suggested we order, since it was popular and on the happy-hour menu).  Two stars because we'll go back when we need a close-by option.  They are good for beer and nachos.

I love this place!! They have the best food and the best drinks!!! It's always good vibes when I come here!!

  • Aug 21, 2019 by Lonnie S.

We waited an hour for appetizers . Had to ask for silverware. Waited on that. Asked for cocktails on the rocks and they came without ice. Manager said she would bring us a better salmon since we asked for a cooked one but in reality she heated the same one up. This place went downhill fast.

I have enjoyed Bar Louie on several occasions in other locations. My latest experience, however, was not a good one! My friend and I stopped in on the evening of Saturday, August 10. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks from Jason the bartender.  He made an excellent Pineapple Martini and Key Lime something. The restaurant was not crazy busy but nearly full due to a couple of large parties. However, it is very obvious that they are understaffed. It took some time but Jason returned to ask for our food order. As my friend was giving her order, Jason walks away mid-sentence to stand ACROSS the bar at the POS terminal to enter the order while we had to raise our voices to continue speaking. I spoke up and said, "Jason, she is still ordering." To which he said, "I know, I am listening, I can hear from over here." WHAT? What if I can't hear from across the bar? Or don't want to yell? Or, I don't know, recognize how rude it is to walk away from someone while they are still speaking? As we waited for our food, we continued to watch the people and parties around us and started to take note that Jason continuously ran his hands through his sweaty, long hair and made drinks (including putting those same hands in the fruit tray) all while not washing his hands during our entire visit. We were shocked that he not only didn't wear a sports band of some kind to keep it out of his face but that he didn't seem to recognize the unsanitary nature of this. Our food finally arrived after over thirty minutes for simple orders and was simply room temperature. At this point we started looking around to see if there was a floor manager to alert to our concerns. There was no obvious choice. All employees were wearing black T-shirts and pants. A member of management couldn't be distinguished by dress. By this time, we had been without drinks for some time as Jason was either too busy or too upset by my previous comment to stop by often. Another bartender (tall, African American, female) happened by and we ordered two new drinks from her. She was very busy in the well and wasn't able to make them right away. A few minutes later, Jason walks by and says that she told him our drink order and he would have them shortly. OOPPSS! We had purposely ordered from the female in hopes of avoiding sweating, hairy hands on our drinks and directly on our fruit. As we contemplated how to handle this situation, I watched him make our drinks incorrectly. The menu stated the Pineapple Sangria has Prosecco but Jason poured in Pinot Grigio. I asked, "Is that the Pineapple Sangria?" He said, "Yes." I asked, "Shouldn't that have Prosecco, rather than Pinot Grigio?" He rolled his eyes and tossed the drinks into the sink. My friend and I said, "We don't need another." A few minutes later, the female bartender brought the correct drinks. Jason then stated, "Oh, I guess she can get it then." About this time, Eric walked by the bar near us to retrieve a bottle beer and asked if everything was ok. I asked if he was a manager, because it wasn't obvious by his dress or the task he was completing. He said, "Yes." I then was honest about our concerns with Jason's unsanitary performance and the lackluster food. He apologized and stated that he would address my concerns and remove the food and first round of drinks from our bill. He then proceeded to have a low volume conversation with Jason standing at the POS system right across the bar from us. I am not sure about Bar Louie's management philosophy but relaying a customer's concerns WHILE THEY ARE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU should probably not be a common practice. As expected Jason avoided us the remainder of our visit. We had enough by this point and asked for our checks. For some reason, this became an ordeal. No one could figure out how to fix an error that occurred when comping the food and drink. After some time we were told that they couldn't figure it out so they would give us 50% off. I looked at the bill and stated that it was not acceptable because it is not what we were told would be charged to us. Jason displayed his annoyance and went back to a female at a POS system for assistance. Finally, he returned and slammed two checks of varying amounts on the bar for my friend and me, which were not the price of the one drink we were told we would be responsible for.  At this point, we just paid the bills and left. We did not tip Jason because we felt we did not get appropriate service. We did, however, give a cash tip to the female bartender that made our excellent Pineapple Sangrias. There is a sign on the outside of the building stating that they are now hiring. It is my hope that, by sharing my experience, leadership will recognize the importance of hiring, training, and managing appropriately so that we will continue to have a great place to visit in One Bellevue Place. I will, of course, visit again in the hopes that this experience is not typical.

Just a good place to hang. James the bartender is awesome! Highly recommend for a post movie/meal beverage.

The service and food was okay. The busser removed one of our beverages way before it was finished. On top of that - my togo food had been bussed from the table by the time I came out from the restroom. Otherwise great menu & plenty of seating, also nice selection of beers The service and food was okay. The busser removed one of our beverages way before it was finished. On top of that - my togo food had been bussed from the table by the time I came out from the restroom. I would not recommend this location to friends but I would go back in a pinch, if that was the limited option.

We weren't sure about this place after reading some of the reviews, but a family member wanted to go...and we are now so glad! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Menu has many choices, and is a few notches up from your typical bar fare. We all ended up having burgers and fries. The burgers were generous and really tasty and the fries were fresh and good. Not much choice for dessert...but we were too full anyway! Service was attentive, and we never had to flag our waiter down for anything, he came and asked before we needed him. We went pretty early on a Saturday, and did not have a wait. Go, give it a try...we will certainly come back.

Limited options. Extremely overpriced. Best/cheapest thing they had was Mac and cheese for 20$. Won't go back

I've returned several times and I am very pleased with the food and service.  Can't wait to return and try more things from the menu.  Brunch was excellent!  I've bumped Bar Louie to a 5th star which is something I rarely do. Good Burgers and a well stocked bar.  We've been twice so far it's been great.

  • Jul 19, 2019 by Gayle R.

No food, no drink no service. I've never experienced such awful service... or lack of. We ordered food and when it was not delivered after an hour and 15 minutes....we left. It took an hour to get a second round of drinks! There are some serious problems here!!!! We were only a table of 3 and we noticed larger tables around us leaving due to thirst and hunger as well. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes for our food order, we left and enjoyed a nice meal at Bria. We won't be returning to Bar Louie. EVER!!!!!

  • Jul 19, 2019 by ChowHoundToo

We arrived at 5pm. Our drink order was filled within a fair amount of time. We all enjoyed our 1st round. After about 45 minutes, we all ordered food and more drinks, around 5:45-6:00. At 6:50 we had no drinks or food. We asked for a manager. She assured us we would shortly receive our drinks and food. No such luck! At 7:00 our drinks... that we ordered 45 minutes ago, finally arrived, but no food... no server... no manager...so at 7:20, we decided to leave. I’ve never left a bar or restaurant without paying my bill until tonight... and I’ve been if legal drinking age for 45 years!!!! Since we were quite hungry, we decided to go to Bria, where we had a lovely dinner and great service. Don’t waste your time at Bar Louie. Bellevue is kind of a desert regarding a decent fun bar with a good crowd and good atmosphere. At the rate Bar Louie is going they are going to fail. In addition to our lack of service.... the tables around us experienced the same problem. What’s the point of ordering food and drinks unless you receive your order? I think an hour and 15 minutes to receive food and almost as long to receive udrinks delivered is worse than poor service. It’s ridiculous! Bar Louie is off the list. I’d rather drive to Midtown or West End. Most bars and restaurants in that area are professionally run and darned good. It’s a bloody shame we don’t have one decent semi-upscale place to enjoy a cocktail and a bite in Bellevue.

I am still grossed out thinking about my visit here! The late-night vibe of the place and the menu looked great. I was excited to try it out, until our waiter came. He was sweating unbelievably, it literally looked as if a bucket of water had been dumped on his head, with sweat dripping into his eyes while he was talking to us. I have never seen anything like that from a waiter, but went ahead and ordered food, so as not to cause a scene in front of the people I was with. The waiter continued to walk around the table, somehow sweating MORE. I was so distracted, it was all I could think about. I then watch him coughing and blowing his nose in front of everyone at the computer. Now I'm thinking, is he sick?? He brought our food to the table and the plates were STICKING to his hands. My boyfriend and I completely lost our appetites, and grabbed food on the way home elsewhere.

  • Jul 12, 2019 by Christopher W.

Awful service. After 25 minutes we didn't have our drinks, water or silverware. Ordered an app of nachos with guacamole, salsa and cheese dip. The cheese dip had some kind of mushy, meaty chunk sitting in the bottom of the bowl, which we didn't discover until we had eaten half of it. The guacamole consisted of solid half of an avocado. Left before we even ordered entrees.

Rainy is the best! This place definitely has the best happy hour in middle TN and has great waitresses and waiters. Great food, amazing happy hour specials and good company!

  • Jul 06, 2019 by Chris C.

This place is pretty cool with a very good menu! They serve brunch and we are planning on coming back for that. The menu is very burger and sandwich based but also has other options as well. Overall not bad and we definitely plan on coming back for the brunch!

  • Jun 29, 2019 by Nell H.

The menu pictures are amazing, but the food is so-so. I ordered the veggie flatbread & for the price, found it to be a small portion without many veggies & more cheese than anything else. Menu mentioned several veggies, but main one I saw was radishes. I think there was a hint of spinach and one artichoke heart leaf. Husband had a chicken club sandwich, which he thought was okay, but messy to eat because of how it was served. So basically, overpriced food & okay, but not great.

FOOD POISON One of these popular burgers. The bacon was undercooked maybe that was it I don't know.  I left a comment on their Instagram but they kept deleting it. So try deleting this. 2 days hugging a toilet thanks guys

This place has TERRIBLE service. Lazy management. Servers are either pissy, apathetic, or super nice but awful at their job. I gave three tries. Every try was an F experience. I worked in the service industry for several years; for a while in Chicago on Michigan Ave. So I get it. Service industry is hard. But getting garbage service at 10:30 at night when the place is almost empty is not acceptable. Things can't always be perfect, but the only thing that is consistent at this restaurant is the s***** service. The trainers or management need to get fired. So many of my Bellevue friends agree: this place is as bad or worse than the Bellevue Chillis. We gave it one last shot, last week, in hopes that things got better. Nope. Had one beer bc none of the food we asked for wasn't available. I had a beer and my wife had water. It took 45 minutes for the total experience. How do they stay open?! It's a mystery.

Unless you drink it’s just meh. Menu is limited and overpriced. Food isn’t bad though. Couldn’t deal with the bartender and her f bombs. Better options nearby.

Met family and friends for drinks. I am 65 and was carded. That was a surprise. I live in another state and am never carded. Make sure to take your ID. Server said she was required to check everyone under the age of 100. We got a good laugh with this. Drinks were ok. We had a wide variety from margaritas to beer. Appetizers came quickly and were good. It is a good place to hangout and enjoy your afternoon.

  • May 20, 2019 by Julie P.

I've been here several times with my family and friends. We've had consistently excellent service. Drinks and dinner can be expensive, but happy hour and lunch are very reasonable. I thought the happy hour and lunch offerings were excellent and not chintzy. Their Rat Pack martini is one of the best martinis I've ever had. I like the relaxed atmosphere and that they include Fridays in their happy hour. If you get the app your happy hour prices extend until 8:00 pm. It feels like a neighborhood bar. Some people don't like it, but I've had consistently good experiences. Great place for happy hour with a larger group. Seven to 10 people was no problem.

  • May 15, 2019 by Jennifer R.

Service non existent. The waitresses and bartender are the furthest from friendly and attentive. The food was nothing to be desired. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was just super greasy and the chicken was dry. My husband had the Luigi and it was super salty. I was highly disappointed.

  • May 02, 2019 by justmeTNred

We thought we'd try the Bellevue Bar Louie for lunch. Mid week, only one other table of customers, about 12;15pm. Upon arriving, I went to the ladies room to discovery No toilet tissue anywhere in site and it was obvious it had not been cleaned for the day. I came out and asked who the manager is and reported it to him. I did not see him or any other employee go to supply it. As we were leaving, one of the other ladies in our group went in .....and had to report it again. We wanted about 20 minutes, an appropriate time, for our food. When the 2 servers brought our 3 orders, one plate of quesadillas went flying off the platter, one piece on a LAP and the rest on the floor. She was apologetic and we assured her it could happen to anyone, She put in a new order but after not receiving the order in 30 minutes, we asked to just take it off the ticket as we were all finished. Fortunately, the portions were ample and we shared. I had to get up to ask for silverware after the food was brought to the table. Not once did anyone come over to offer more tea, or water. There were 7 customers and 4 employees visible in the restaurant, the manager, 2 servers and one behind the bar. Even if they had offered to comp the food in exchange of dry cleaning cost, we would not return. If they were that lazy as we could see, I can't imagine what the back of the serving area, Ice machine and other equipment must have been ! YIKES

Great place to come and have drinks with friends, family, or coworkers! The best happy hour(s) around and not to mention the amazing food for a great price! Service is quick, I promise you won't be disappointed! The patio is a great place to relax with plenty of seating.

We always enjoy coming to Bar Louie for happy hour. This time we had the pleasure of having Emily wait on us. She is AWESOME!!! She was very friendly, personable, and gave us EXCELLENT customer service.

The food was great (chicken nachos and the blue burger) and of course, the DIVA (my drink of choice) was awesome. The tempura shrimp was amazing...although the buffalo sauce had me a little choked up.

Even happy hour prices cannot help this place, don't waste your money.  I've been here three times, the first time was the worst, bad service, bad food, nice to sit outside.  Second time same thing, third time had a sweet waitress, but it is really hard to mess up artichoke dip, but they did.  Too bad all we have in Bellevue are these marginal chain restaurants, we need some local people to come in here so we don't have to go to these places.

  • Apr 16, 2019 by CaptJohn315

Went to newly opened Bar Louie in shopping center in Bellevue, TN. Nice atmosphere, good service. But our nephew said the chain recently changed their menu and tried to go more upscale. My opinion is that they did not quite get there. Had the salmon with spicy cauliflower. Was good but just good not great. Calamari was a little fishy and too salty but crisp and spicy

It's a great place to go and get a bite with some friends. The food is good and the atmosphere is good. There's nothing terrible that I've experienced with this location, but there's nothing over the top amazing either.

  • Apr 07, 2019 by Mitzi H.

This is a beautiful place and I wanted so much to love it. However, we came in at 10pm on a Saturday, noone greeted us despite restaurant being very slow. Drinks were expensive and food was not good. Blackened salmon sliders were not blackened and salmon was literally raw (not undercooked....raw). My husband has been in the restaurant business for 25 years. He cooks our salmon perfect every time. We won't be back.

We went here before we went to the Nashville Symphony. We LOVED the menu! I had a turkey burger and my mom had Salmon sliders. We thought the menu had really unique stuff, like salmon sliders, and we go out to eat all the time. I loved the food and our service was awesome. We also had the rosé when it was half price and it was so good! Will definitely be going back.

Not a huge fan of the bar food at bar Louie but the drinks are fun on occasion. The atmosphere is nice if the weather permits being outdoors.

We have visited Bar Louie 3 times and Brunch was a mixed bag. Service was a plus. Ultimate Bloody Mary's were a meal. Spicy! The meal was mixed. I got spicy sausage and biscuits. The gravy was spicy but the biscuit was flat. Did it need baking powder or is it baking soda? Someone knows. Eggs Benedict were find. Still having a hard time finding Hollandaise Sauce in Bellevue

Being from Chicago I love Bar Louie, we have several there. The food is always consistent and good. What is also consistent is dried lipstick on my champagne flutes each time I brunch here. Third time this has happened. It takes about an extra two seconds to check for lipstick prints...

Terrible,my wife and I wanted to grab a late lunch after shopping.Sat at the bar and was greeted pretty quick..we ordered some food and then it went downhill from there.I ordered the salmon with couscous and Paula ordered a burger medium with tater tots. The salmon was dry and the burger was well done ...tried again and same result..the manager was apologetic and explained that the kitchen staff were not used to cooking a burger that way and didn't charge us for our food..In fairness we have ate there before and it was good.We love the martinis that bar Louie serves and maybe we will go there for pre dinner drinks...food not so sure.

We had been here 1 other time. As soon as we walked in Baylee knew what we liked to drink and brought it to us without needing reminded. She also knew how I liked my food when ordering too. She is a top-notch bartender!!

  • Jan 09, 2019 by Brandon C.

I've been three times and have yet to have a real positive experience there. Our first time my wife ordered the impossible burger, and after we put our orders in the waitress came back and told us they were out. We ordered a flatbread instead and it was burnt and service was almost non existent. I had to drink my wife's water because she doesn't usually drink much and waitress rarely came by our table and never refilled them. Then when the bill came they hadn't even taken off the impossible burger and I couldn't shake the feeling that it seemed like it was intentional, hoping I wouldn't pay attention to the bill. My wife wanted to go back a second time to get the Impossible Burger, and I figured maybe the first visit was just a bad night. Second visit they were out of buns for their burgers so my wife got it on a different choice of bread. My meal was pretty average and definitely not worth their pricing. Third visit, we were going to another restaurant nearby and my wife changed her mind last minute wanting to give the impossible burger another try with the proper bun because she at least liked their fries. This time I ordered a BBQ burger medium. It came out tasting like it had freezer burn and being completely well done and dry. It didn't even have the crispy onions it was supposed to have. I rarely return food (usually too nervous and feel bad for complaining) but I decided to speak to the waitress about it and she put in an order for another one. Second burger came out and it had the onions but they were very barely fried (probably trying to rush the burger out) and then the burger was still over cooked and probably still closer to  a well done or too end of medium well and no where close to medium. I was starving at this point and couldn't bring myself to say something twice. Again, same as the first trip my water was never refilled and waitress forgot the one time I asked before I ran out. Then when the bill came out it had my meal on there twice. I mentioned it to her and her response made it seem like she was completely aware it was on there twice and they were just planning to have me pay for two meals if I didn't say anything.

Pretty disappointing experience. The atmosphere is great, but the good vibes wear off as soon as you sit down. There was no host to seat us, and a waitress came around eventually to take our drink orders. Coffee and a couple of bloody marys took way too long because the bartender was new and alone handling the whole load by herself on a holiday.  Refills on coffee and water were few and far between as well. I ordered a dish that was described as rib tips with Hawaiian flair, but they just came out as a small plate of plain rib tips and no side, which was a let down as they looked to be a special insert on the menu and a bit more expensive than other items. I was hangry by the time the food arrived. There was no craftsmanship to any of the dishes at our table. Could have gotten the same thing at a dive bar. The waitress had an excuse for everything, and service overall was very slow. They obviously weren't prepared for the holiday crowd. To them it just seemed as if it was going to be a slow Tuesday lunch hour. Despite the slow service and long wait time for food, the waitress was quickest with *surprise* the check. That came out almost immediately. I still tipped her because she was obviously trying her best, but I will not return to or recommend this place.

Not too bad for the price. Was able to get a huge serving of Mac & Cheese along with food for my daughter for under 20$. Cute an fun date night, service could be faster but nothing to cry home about. Will definitely come again to see what the par could offer

Having just moved to the Bellevue are I can perhaps envision this becoming our regular Wednesday night dinner hangout. Everything I have had here has been good. Overall its not incredibly different from any other medium grade chain, but plenty of menu options, good seating, decent parking and lots of big-screen tv's. Not too loud either, considering. Seems pretty kid friendly too. I'm not a drinker but lots of things on the drink menu look interesting and the prices there are reasonable too. I have also eaten at the Bar Louie's in St. Louis and in Evansville, IN with similar positive experiences.

This is a great place to come get a drink, but I think their food is only ok. We've been in several times and the food has always only been ok. They have a great happy hour special and the apps are tasty. We came for brunch one day and they offered "unlimited mimosas" but cut us off after only 6!  And they were served in champagne glasses, not even large glasses. We were very disappointed in this and wouldn't return for brunch here because of it. There are so many better places to eat in this walking area, I would skip it for dinner and come in for apps or drinks before a movie.

Visited bar Louie today while visiting my sister in Nashville. We walked in and the hostess was very friendly. Then the server came over and definitely wasn't as friendly. We got there around 230 and apparently lunch menu closes at 2pm. We saw the lunch menu flyer on the table without a cut off time and tried to order off of it, but we were shut down. I understand, but pick up your menus if you don't want people ordering from them. Anyways, we ordered burgers, lettuce wraps, trip dips, and blue cheese iceberg lettuce wedges. The food was pretty good. The salads were really small and pricey for just one lettuce "wedge". They left the blue cheese crumbles off of my wedge, and we had to actually add to go to the barre to try to find our server to get the blue cheese crumbles. It seem like we were often waiting on the server. It didn't seem like they were very busy, however. Regardless, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the location. Unfortunately they did not have anything gluten-free, what was a tough one for me. Get with the times please. Offer gluten-free items, or educate your servers is if you are ready do.

Thanks to AMC A List I find myself here very often before a movie. They have one of the best happy hours on the west side. $5 martinis. Yes, $5 martinis and they have a fantastic selection as well as 1/2 price on many appetizers and flatbreads from 4-7PM. Service can take a very long time here, but if you are seated at the bar it tends to be quicker. Food is your average bar food, but their Spiked Bulleit Bourbon Burger and fish and chips are definitely above average. They do have seasonal specials that are also often very good. Definitely the "trendiest" vibe in all of the Bellevue area and a satisfying choice when you are in the mood for a fancy drink on this side of town.

I wish I could give them a better review, but 3 out of 3 visits to this location have been poor experiences. Each time we've had to flag down someone to come wait on us. Our second visit we sat at a table for 10-15 minutes and no one came over to serve us. We ended up leaving, but there were no hosts or hostesses to notice us going anyway. Today we stood at the door for 5 minutes before anyone welcomed us or sat us. We then waited 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. We ordered immediately but it was still over 30 minutes before food arrived. Unfortunately there were hairs in two of our drinks but I didn't mention it because I didn't want to embarrass the waitress. The wait staff in general seems busy, but no one is in a hurry. Everyone is moving around but it doesn't seem like they're serving the tables well at all. The menu is great and we enjoy the food, but the service is severely lacking. We probably won't go back for a while. I hope they get the service issue sorted quickly because we really like the food. As Michael Scott says, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, strike three"

Worse experience ever.  Ordered two bloody Mary's that took about 20 minutes to make and one had a hair in it and the bartender got offended and said it wasn't hers.  After that we ordered food. This took about 45 minutes. While waiting for our food my wife ordered me a beer and ask where our food was. This pissed off the bartender.  So she comes back with food that isn't ours and again is pissed odd when we say we didn't order this then proceeds to throw down the food.  Once we finally get our food it is ice cold. Horrible experience all together will not go back. Manager never even came to see us. They need to step up there level of customer service.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service, nice atmosphere inside and out and a comfortable place to hang out with friends and family. 100% recommend! James is my favorite bartender. Please come in and see him for the latest and greatest hand crafted cocktails!

Food is always ok but the service has be awful every time.  Though it would get better as time went on but no.

  • Oct 24, 2018 by tkenaston66

Been here three times and the food is ok. Haven't had anything that was great & made me want to have it again. Priced too high also.

After living on this planet for over four decades and having worked in restaurants for two of those, it's service that matters the most to me. Food can be returned and fixed should it not be done to your liking, but there is no fixing bad service. Over the last handful of years I have noticed the service part of most businesses is on the major decline. Don't know if it's the new generation that just doesn't give a damn or if it's the cell phones that are keeping everyone's heads in the clouds. Whatever the reason, the fact is that there are so many choices when deciding where to go and eat and most folks are not going to come back if the service is bad. Such is the case with Bar Louie in Bellevue. Ordered some food by phone. Came to pick it up fifteen minutes later and had to wait another fifteen minutes while the bar tender chatted up the only two customers at the bar. I finally had to ask the hostess to go and get my food from the kitchen. If it was busy, I would be more understanding, but there were exactly four people in the entire restaurant. It's just a very common occurance these days. The art of service, which I took very seriously when I was in the business, is lost in most places today.  Hard to believe that owners and managers don't take that part of the business more seriously. Hard to believe people are allowed to talk on their cell phones when they should be working, but that happens all the time too. Sad

0 stars. Starting to think the people leaving reviews are people who work there. I am a server myself and have never given or received such bd service at a restaurant in my life. It took 20 minutes for a server to get to us. It took 30 minutes after the server took my drink order for her to back to us with our drinks ( we ordered beers). It took an hour for food and no one ever checked on us. And then an hour for us to get our checks. I thought we were gonna have dinner for about an hour but it took 3 hours. I have tried both Bar Louie's in Nashville and they both have been awful. The one in the gulch we left after no one had taken our drink order in 30minutes. Both Bar Louie's need to hire better servers.

  • Oct 18, 2018 by Patty W.

Not bad, not great. Glad to have in Bellevue. Just need more staff, however that's the problem everywhere in Nashville. Too expensive to live here, therefore no one eats out and people in the service industry want to work in a higher pace/higher volume restaurants towards downtown. We will go back to Lou. One time our food was terrible on my husbands bday, service was great tho. Went back another time food was great, service was not so wonderful. I'm sure these are all growing pains and they will get it right.

We went for happy hour and got drinks and appetizers. This is a real deal as we loved the wine and food was delicious too! I would definitely go back again.

Love the atmosphere, loved the drinks, but loved my bartender more! She makes her drinks with ease and precision and a touch of flair. She recommended the salmon burgers and they are absolutely to die for. Brittany is filled with wit, humor, and she's always a good time. Next girls night we are making sure she's there!!!

  • Oct 02, 2018 by 479catherinen

They have so many people that work there at one time you never have bad service. So Friendly! They treat my pup like royalty, with the water bowl refills and staff coming out just to say hello to the pup. That's important to me.

  • Sep 28, 2018 by Henry M.

Dylan was amazing and very professional yet also held good conversation ! One of my favorite bartenders ever ! Great guy overall was on time with everything and was also hilarious . Food was good. Drinks were just right ! Very pleased with this place overall

  • Sep 25, 2018 by Tara B.

Awesome live music on Tuesday!!! Kelsey the manager picked them out and was thoroughly impressed with them. Will def be back.

  • Sep 24, 2018 by Jessi N.

Lisa took the best care of us! Highly recommend stopping in and seeing her as for the rest of the bar staff not so much. I have returned 3 days in a row and gotten mediocre service every since! The bartenders are not busy and would rather chit chat with each other then take orders and cash people out! We are service industry and asked multiple times for basic needs.

  • Sep 19, 2018 by Tyler A.

This place is awesome! Brittany at the bar is fantastic! She makes the best hennesey cocktails and can make any drink if you tell her what you like. She as well as her manager kelsey have big smiles and are there if you need anything! I would recommend this spot for anytime of the day! Dont just think you can get drinks the food is fire as well!

  • Sep 19, 2018 by Katrina W.

Had a great time with my lady friends at the new Bar Louie location in Bellevue! We met up around around 2pm on a Wednesday. Very chill atmosphere. Not very busy, but it was nice to have the special attention from the staff. Kelsey was the MOD and also paid us a visit and told us about the live music and future events. Had a very pleasant experience!!!

  • Sep 18, 2018 by Morgan H.

This is my favorite place to grab drinks and food in Bellevue. The staff is very inviting and the bartenders are always sure to take very good care of their guests. It is always very clean and well organized (which is extremely important to me when picking a place to hang out) and the location is great! I almost always sit at the bar, but I will occasionally bring my dog and sit on the open patio. My food always comes out promptly and is always made exactly as I order it. I will absolutely continue to frequent this Bar Louie!

  • Sep 14, 2018 by Ashley K.

Great place to spend a Friday night with friends. Best place for fries and beer. Heather is the BEST waitress -- she is great even when you make scene. Stop by and ask for her!

  • Sep 06, 2018 by Lauren O.

This is prob one of my favorite restaurants now. They have excellent customer service, amazing food, and a fun atmosphere. I'm so glad this place found its way to Bellevue!

  • Sep 02, 2018 by Jay S.

This place is always packed, so you assume there's a reason for that. We've been here a few times and always walk away underwhelmed. It's the kind of place that looks ok on the surface but dig a little deeper, or go there enough, and you see the problems. Prices don't match the quality of the food. The staff, although friendly, always appears to be overwhelmed. We sat at the bar once, only to find it sticky on top, and underneath (not even the dry cleaner could get the stain off). We asked for a specific drink (it's only 3 ingredients) and the bartender decided to suggest one of their cocktails, while he was already making it. The drink wasn't even remotely close to what we wanted, except for the gin we asked him to use. The last time we went was 2 nights ago (late). Not sure what the hell was going on in that kitchen but it was inedible. I asked for sliders and got 1: a flavor that was clearly not cleaning the cooking surface. It tasted like burnt cooking oil. 2: the patty was noticeably smaller than the bun, mind you these are sliders so anything less is basically chicken nugget sized slider. 3: the inside was more like mush than ground beef. We also ordered chicken tenders, and instead got what looked like fried oysters. That's how thin and dark-breading they were. Finally my wife goes into the bathroom and (this is not an exaggeration) the floor was covered in urine and there was a loaf of bread just sitting on the baby changing station. When she mentioned it, the table that was already seated before we got there said it's been that way since they got there. ALL WE HAD AT HOME WAS PASTA, BUT NO SAUCE. I CAN GUARANTEE THIS WOULD'VE BEEN A BETTER MEAL, IN EVERY SENSE Ps. Staff was very friendly

  • Aug 29, 2018 by Tennessee_TS

My wife and I have been there a couple of times and were not disappointed. We haven't tried any mixed drinks but the food is really good. We have had the flat breads and burgers. Both very good and our friends had the fish and chips and said they were very good. One of our new favorite places to eat.

  • Aug 19, 2018 by Ashley S.

The drinks are great. The brunch is good but everything else not so much. We went for dinner, the service was bad. Ordered an appetizer they forgot about order 4 different entrees and they were all not so good. Like at all. Waiter tried to make it better but the food was just not good

  • Aug 13, 2018 by Alec D.

I freaking love the cocktails here. Jessie the server even asked how many olives in our martinis and whether we wanted bleu cheese stuffed or not. Outstanding service. Favorite local bar. Jessie is the best waitress we've ever had her and I've been hear 30+ times. Cheers!

  • Aug 12, 2018 by Sherri C.

Such an awesome addition to the Bellevue community.  Bellevue One Place is becoming a hot spot for entertainment,  dining,  community gatherings,  coffee and movies. Bar Louie is fun and the food and service was great. Jessica was our waitress and John the manager stopped by our table to meet us. We are definitely going back again!!

  • Aug 12, 2018 by Peter B.

This is not the place to go.  The bartender today was rude.  I ordered an omelette and it took 30 minutes.  The toast was cold, tator tots barely warm and the omelette dry.  The food is not that good and the amount of time you wait to get it is definitely not worth the wait.

  • Aug 07, 2018 by Leigh M.

The food was fabulous. The martinis even better. Our server Adaya was attentive, helpful, and delightful. Will go back to enjoy another burger and Martini.

  • Aug 07, 2018 by L F.

Service was good but took away plates while others at table still eating (twice) and before one was finished.   Food was nothing special.  They bragged on their tots but they were very plain.  Two plates they were cool   Ok place if you are just looking for a "c" meal.   The place was pretty empty at lunch.   We were told there were more there for after work drinks.

  • Aug 07, 2018 by SonnyDibby

We had vowed to visit again. We were not disappointed! Same great service and a menu for everyone. The $8 lunch menu is a deal. Extra $1 for a cheeseburger. Fries are great. Next time we will try brunch. Hope they survive the restaurant wars.

  • Aug 06, 2018 by f00diepat

Probably the best slider burgers with a hint of bacon! Great for sharing - chicken tortilla soup was good, too. Probably won't eat inside as it is way too cold and noisy.

  • Aug 02, 2018 by Janet B.

Love the food and sitting outside.  Noisy inside Service is a solid "good".   Salad wasn't quite what I ordered but they adjusted and made it correctly for me.

  • Aug 01, 2018 by Moreen L.

Just ate at At this restaurant- food okay but waiter was RUDE - manager was no better. Appetizer came at the same time as food. When I said I'm sorry we no longer want the appetizer because we have our main courses he got pissy... to the point when he dropped off our check he made sure he spilled water on me. There's more but that's enough.

  • Aug 01, 2018 by Joe B.

A previous visit didn't go very well. Mainly because the restaurant had just opened.  We, a party of seven, decided to give it another chance tonight. Unbelievable change!  Mark, the manager, was great. Kaleigh, our server, was a super star. Couldn't ask for a better server. Highly recommend this place. If you visit make sure you ask Kaleigh!!!

  • Jul 28, 2018 by Jessica H.

Great atmosphere. Perfect for families. Everyone is friendly, food is good. No complaints! We took our 2 kids and Chris was our server. He was the best! So thoughtful, kind, and made us feel very welcome even with our messy 10 month old. Will definitely be coming back!

  • Jul 25, 2018 by Jane S.

We were greeted immediately and we gave gave drink and app orders. Our drinks came in a little bit but the waiter said the bar was backed up. We the sat for over an hour- no appetizers- we weren't asked if we wanted to order dinner- finally we asked our waiter to check on our appetizers- he said the manager said we already ate them. He put them in again. They came out quickly but were cold. No apologies nothing. The waiter never asked if we wanted to order anything else or checked back to see how our food was. Horrible. I will never eat there again.

  • Jul 22, 2018 by Myduy N.

I live about 5 minutes from this place and I was so excited that I wouldn't have ro drive all the way to the gulch for Bar louie. I took my family here to try out one of my favorite bar... food was a disappointment. Thank god the martinis were still great. Everything was so salty... buffalo traditional wings, sesame chicken lettuce wrap and thai flatbread. House chips were undercooked and soggy (flavors were good though). The lettuce for the wrap wre NOT WASHED!! Layers of dirt were visible!!! I ate one without noticing until my sister pointed it out. Every single one of them had thick layers of dirt on them... the waiter took the lettuce back to get them washed......I think this place has potential.. just need to pay more attention.

  • Jul 22, 2018 by Lindsey C.

This location is really good, and the food & servers are fantastic!  The stand-out employee though is a male table bus who we saw there...he was working harder than anyone, and I was so impressed with his work ethic that I just wanted to give him a shout out!

  • Jul 22, 2018 by Patty L.

We were very sad to see flies all over the first time we ate at Bar Louie. So after writing a review about the flies we decided to try it again!!! The front door was still open. We walked in and people were at the bar. We stood there for a while and the bar lady nor a waiter asked us to sit at a table. There are plenty of tables besides the bar. No manager or anyone was at the front to greet people so we left!!!!! We will not be back!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't find out if there were any flies this times. We did have a chance to find out!!!! Not good to see flies all over and to be swatting them your entire meal. I know the waitresses could see us fighting the flies. If they would shut the front big door and  not leave it open, I believe the flies could be controlled. But for now that is a big no no!!!!! hated flies on my drink and food!!!!!

  • Jul 20, 2018 by April M.

Got some food to go from here last week! The burger was pretty good! I may give a better review later once I've actually eaten in the restaurant and gotten a cocktail!

  • Jul 18, 2018 by Stephanie A.

Really wanted to like Bar Louie, close to home and would be nice choice to eat and drink at least once a week.  However, after three visits my husband I will never go back.  We will drive into Nashville for better choices.  Service awful, food subpar and if you are a beer drinker few local craft beer choices mainly national beer brands.  Disappointed...

  • Jul 17, 2018 by Paul G.

Don't come here with the expectation of timely service, decent food, or even reasonable music playing. I think an employee parked her SUV beside our outdoor table and kept the motor running for a solid 17 minutes. On the whole, the beer-soup-side salad and Louie burger cost a whopping 27 + tip. Disappointing. We won't be back.

  • Jul 12, 2018 by Anna J.

I love how close this is to my place in Bellevue. I'm not a real lover of chain restaurants and really the food is OK at best, the drinks are yummy and happy hour prices are good. The best part by FAR has been the servers. John and Nia have been absolutely fantastic. My last two visits they've gone beyond what is expected to make my experience exceptional.  I would recommend this location for a happy hour of well-priced, yummy beverages and really great service.

  • Jul 12, 2018 by Halie W.

Awesome hand crafted drinks, and AMAZING food. From wings, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, burgers, and even the Impossible Veggie Burger (scientists created it). Great place to go with friends. They have a pretty big patio to sit outside (dog friendly), a huge bar to sit at and watch TV with awesome bartenders. If you want the comfort of sitting on the couch and eating they also have a lounging area to sit at where you can order anything off the menu. Highly recommend to hang there with friends and have some drinks. It is also kid friendly, you only need to be 21+ to get served alcohol. So everyone is welcome!

  • Jul 10, 2018 by Angie C

After the second chance, I will never be back. The first time, the bartender was unbelievably rude and never came back to see us, sitting at bar.... not busy.... ignored us for more than 15 minutes, drinks dry.... don't know why i even stayed that long.... just hoping i guess.. This second time, sat at a table by the bar, server was fine, but drinks still took at least 15 minutes... again, not busy AT ALL..... ordered an appetizer, after 35 to 40 minutes with no APPETIZER... left again. No wonder it's not busy. Hope something better takes it's place.

  • Jul 10, 2018 by Dan J

My wife and I just ate here for the first time. Almost everything about our experience was excellent. The atmosphere and food were spectacular. Ordered my first ever Impossible Burger...a plant based burger. Literally, this was the best burger I ever tasted. I thoroughly enjoyed my food.

  • Jul 09, 2018 by 76jonih

Always love Bar Louie for the amazing happy hour specials, excellent martinis and delish menu. The crispy chicken melt is a favorite. Great patio, fun atmosphere and great service and the incredibly convenient location makes it one of my favorite places to visit!

  • Jul 08, 2018 by Samantha W.

I'd like to start by saying that I have worked in the bar/ restaurant industry for over a decade and understand that it takes a bit to work out the kinks when an establishment first opens and a new team is being formed. That being said, Iv visited the new location in Bellevue maybe 3 times now... once for cocktails and twice two to grab a bite to eat. The ambiance is nice and laid back and very clean, which is inviting to those looking to relax and enjoy a drink. However, on both dining occasions, my husband and I each ordered the bourbon burger and asked for them to be cooked medium rare. While the intriguing combination of toppings were delicious in flavor, on both occasions we received very well done burgers which was quite disappointing. The correct temperature really makes a huge difference on how good a burger is in my eyes. Unfortunately I don't see us testing that one out for a third time. As far as the bar staff (since we always sit at the bar) there's not really anything negative to say nor is there anything really amazing to say. There isn't much conversation, they're just there to do their job. Which is great if you just want to go somewhere and not be bothered I suppose. Anyway, just wanted to share my experience and hope to maybe see the new spot develop more sometime in the future.

  • Jul 07, 2018 by Fred R.

Visited Bar Louie today for late lunch but it was pretty disappointing based on the hype I had heard about it. Our server Heather was the bright spot for our visit. Very helpful and nice - made suggestions on her favorites and commented that portions were big. We placed our order and food was quickly brought to us. However that's when the disappointment began. My wife ordered ice tea and it tasted like it was instant not fresh brewed. She ordered a Caesar Salad it was huge but not cold , crisp and refreshing - she also got baked Mac n cheese - warm but not hot - no way it was actually baked - just garnished with bread crumbs- tasted ok - creamy but nothing special. I had the fish and chips - was large portion but a little greasy- again ok but nothing special an expensive Captain D's version.  Our server noticed my wife didn't eat much of her meal but we did not complain - so she brought to go packaging and our bill. Again our server was pleasant and atmosphere was pleasant and lively- but not likely to go back for the food. Too many better options in the area.

  • Jul 05, 2018 by Michael L.

Stopped in for a late lunch. It was not very crowded and we immediately got a table. My wife had the chicken quesadilla and I had the voodoo sandwich. The quesadilla was what you would expect at most bar/restaurants.  I will say the guacamole was pretty good. I was told the voodoo sandwich was spicy.  I would not agree. It was pretty good.  It could have used a sauce of some sort.  The tater tots that came with the sandwich were very good.

  • Jul 02, 2018 by Beth T.

The salad order got a little messed up, but the customer service in resolving it was stellar, and we loved our dinner!

I am a bit torn where to star this, as there are some positives and some negatives. I think the negatives can be smoothed out as the shopping area fills in. So I am running 3 for now, but I think 3-4 fits. On a personal note, for me, I disagree with the review on the spice level of the voodoo pasta, as I found myself adding Cayenne. These are both subjective, however, and I do not have a good grasp on their consistency. I do, however, think the server should be careful on stating it is not spicy, as my wife's palette would have found it doable, but definitely a bit hot. Either way, I think we are both in the average restaurant, so I concur with its placement in the world today. Bar Louie is a chain. Realistically, they are a happy hour bar more than anything, or at least that is when they tend to be really rocking. And they have decent happy hour specials every day on both apps and drinks, so it is understandable why. On that alone, I might aim for 5 stars, especially when sitting at the bar. They do this well, as it is easy enough to plan out staffing. If you go during happy hour, you might be a bit ticked at the size of the crowd, ability to get a table, but I don't think you will hate the deals. Where they are not as good is staffing at slower times. The crowd can really vary, so I can imagine it is a manager's nightmare right now. I think this will smooth out after the hotel is opened across the street. I will rerate if they start clicking a bit better. I have had great experience with the wait staff each time. And I really like the neighborhood vibe after seeing a movie. Great conversations with people around us, which fits more of the East Nashville kind of vibe. I guess there is hope for Bellevue after all? I like the food. It is somewhat institutional, but it is not Logan's Outhouse or TGI-Apple-O-Chili-Tuesdays either. Some of the menu slants more towards typical bar food or pub grub, while some is a bit closer to gastro pub fare. Rather extensive. One thing I did notice is the fish and chips were a bit greasy, which normally occurs when the oil is not hot enough, which can be corrected (anyone from BL reading this?) The atmosphere is very nice and inviting. Very typical of Bar Louie locations I have visited. The patio is well arranged for both party seating and more social types of seating. I found the service better when they are slammed, although the service, when slow, improved after getting the server talking. I think our second server just did not quite have the social game down for serving tables. With a couple of tweaks, I would definitely lift this review up a star. A bit more training on the server side to get real consistency would be a start. I would also get some more visibility on fryer temps to ensure the fried product is crispy. The rest is largely out of their control. I will return.

  • Jun 27, 2018 by Rachel C.

Disappointing since I love the VA location... The server had no idea the kitchen was out of macaroni which knocked mac and cheese and another option from the kids menu.  She didn't know the WIFI password.  There were so many house flies and fruit flies that we were unable to enjoy our meals.  Disgusting!

  • Jun 26, 2018 by Robby S.

Came in to get a drink and maybe an appetizer. Went home extremely impressed! Service was top notch. And it was not only appetizers but quite a few  entrees. Also tons of burgers, salads and sandwiches. Drinks were great and atmosphere was cool. I have and will recommend Bar Louis in Bellevue to everyone

  • Jun 26, 2018 by Caleb C.

Went here with my family for Father's Day. Seated in a reasonable time on a busy evening, the atmosphere was great, the place was clean (it's brand new, but still), and the food was good too. They were accommodating to my girlfriend's food allergies and it all had that extra bit of flavor that is necessary to set restaurants serving this kind of food apart. The staff were very friendly, but not annoyingly friendly like when they ask you how your food is 10 times. Our waitress, Jordan, was very sweet and helpful and laid back. You could tell she really knew how to manage a bunch of tables on a busy evening without making you feel rushed. Definitely recommended. Will definitely come back!

  • Jun 26, 2018 by Jessica F.

So glad we tried Bar Louie tonight! We Just moved to Pegram/Bellevue and decided to try something new. The atmosphere was fun, inviting and clean. Heather was our server and she was so friendly, prompt, and provided excellent recommendations from the wine to the fish tacos. We have found our new favorite!!!

  • Jun 24, 2018 by Rhia N.

Even though it was super hot outside. I really appreciate how Rob accommodated us. The food was delicious and he kept the refills on mimosa coming! Thanks Rob! You are the best

  • Jun 22, 2018 by Kenneth M.

Great service and wonderful drinks.  We had a Orange Mule, Lemon Drop and S'more which were all awesome! We had appetizers that were also great, calamari and roasted vegetables flat bread. Amazing!!!!

  • Jun 20, 2018 by Tennesseemommie

Went in May for the first time ever to a Bar Louie. We were given drinks, order taken and given a dry burnt, appetizer and was over an hour before I finally went and tracked down our waiter to ask where our order was. It was two burgers and two chicken sandwiches. Nothing difficult. He spoke with the manager who gave us the whole meal on them. I appreciated the compensation for terrible service. The food was nothing to brag about. Just ordinary sandwiches.

  • Jun 19, 2018 by Kelly R.

Bar Louie is a great place to stop for a drink. I'm a fan of The Dirty martini and they have a decent beer selection. As for food, I've had the Totchos and the Sliders and both are good. They aren't great, but good enough.  Overall, I recommend and I'll be back.

  • Jun 17, 2018 by Chasity

I’ve been to Bar Louie in Nashville and it was a good experience. After 2 tries in Bellevue I’m done. Horrible service, food is mediocre. Who serves large chucks of jalapeño’s like this?

  • Jun 17, 2018 by Abby K.

I wish I could testify to the quality of their food, however, the bartender never gave me the chance. I thought I would grab a beer and an appetizer before catching a movie. However, after nearly a half hour of waiting for a single appetizer and the bartender not being anywhere in site, I had to leave. Awful service for a place that wasn't even that busy.

  • Jun 13, 2018 by Christina B.

My first time ever at a Bar Louie and I was impressed! I heard they had opened on the skirts of Nashville and I happened to be in town for vacation!  Their HH specials are awesome. 1/2 priced apps until 7 pm.  3.50 drafts, $4 wine and $5.50 for any signature martini. For apps we ordered the Bruschetta, which was awesome!!  It comes served over lettuce and in a GIANT martini glass.  Second, we ordered the calamari. It was okay, not my favorite.  For my meal I had the Blue Louie and OMG!!  It was super yum!  My friend ordered the pepper and pig sliders and really enjoyed them.  I'm just learning that we also have one in Charlotte, in the university area.  So I'll have to check them out soon!

The cocktails are great; and as far as the food goes, the cocktails are great.  Seriously -- several friends and I have tried three times to find something tolerable on the menu, but there is nothing in this place worth eating.  Go have a nice dinner, then hit Bar Louie for cocktails.

I have been twice and the staff has been amazing. The drinks are very good and the food is delicious! It's a great addition to the Bellevue area!

Great food and drinks! We’ve been for brunch and dinner. Everything is great. I have a food allergy and they were very conscientious about that even having the manager go over ingredients with me. Now the negative, they have the front double doors propped open no matter how hot it is outside, and with no air curtain, flies and gnats were in abundance. We visited on a hot june 09 day, and were constantly swatting bugs away, INSIDE the restaurant! Unless something changes, i will only be visiting in winter!! You’ve been warned....

Great place to mingle and have some drinks! Food is subpar, but if you're super hungry then it's okay.

Ive always heard good things about this place; so naturally I was looking forward to going here for the first time. I was even more excited to see that they opened one at one Bellevue place. The first time we tried to go the wait was an hour and a half and we just didn't have the time to wait. We came back on a Friday/Saturday night and had a 30-45 minute wait. We actually walked over to home goods for a little while before coming back to wait outside.   I think we waited longer than anticipated. Once it was finally time to get sat; we were sat inside. Place is cute and inviting. We sat at a table near the bathrooms. It took a while to get acknowledged. We ordered waters while we looked over the menus. The menus are quite extensive. We ordered a watermelon margarita, if I'm not mistaken. It was decent. We ordered the trio dip and chips. Yummy. All the dips were delicious. Also it came out almost immediately. Impressed on that part. I ordered the voodoo pasta. I had asked the server if it was spicy; she said it was a little. WOW. It was on fire; so much so that I didn't eat much of it. My date ordered the drunken fish and chips. The fish was super greasy and over battered. Overall we were disappointed. I believe we would like to go back and give it another shot.

What a nice surprise! Wanted to see a movie, had heard of the Bellevue Mall's opening, and decided to try for dinner and a movie. Bar Louie sounded good (despite the disappointing reviews of the Gulch location), so off we went. On the plus side: excellent blackened fish tacos and salmon sliders (we don't go for burgers, so it was good to have several worthwhile choices). My wife enjoyed her sangria. Outside seating very pleasant. Our only hesitation: the logistics are still being worked out. Took 10 minutes of us meandering around trying to find a table on our own before anyone formally greeted us, then a bit longer for a table to be cleared. Food was almost a bit too long in coming to the table (and this was a Sunday night), but we were enjoying the summer vibe and did not fret. So, with fingers crossed that things will only improve beyond the already worthwhile food, we'll be back ... and then enjoy the very short walk to the movie theater.

I have a lot of fond memories at various bar Louie's across America- this one is clearly new and definitely still ironing out some kinks. They do have a beautiful patio area that is open air to the inside of the restaurant and very big bar. Now the problem being- it was totally jammed and not enough waitresses or waiters to cover people so we waited almost to our entrees for our drinks. Had the tots as an appetizer- good enough- but my husband had to ask three times for them to bring out his jalapeños that were supposed to be on the side. Finally got our drinks - I had the pineapple sangria and let me see woah watch out that could get you in trouble quick! Very good and very smooth going down! We ordered sliders for meal- they were ok but not great. I can always finish a burger and these I had like 1.5 of the 3 not super in love. It was fine- waitress was run ragged with all the tables but it was ok- am I going back? Maybe in the fall and just for the pineapple sangria. I will say location wise you can't beat bar Louie for a pre movie meal

Went in with two others after a 4:00 movie.  Seated right away at a high top table near the front window.   It took quite a while for our server to arrive but when he did he was good. Nice ambiance.  Nice happy hour offerings.  Service was good. We will go back. Great addition to 37221.

Ugh!  I give my 1st experience a 2 Star cause of decent motif.  My wife & I went Memorial Day 2018. There was 1 bartender for 92 people (I counted) & many seats still open at the bar & tables. Took 40 mins for a burger & a cup of soup. The burger was cold. Took 40 minutes to get 2 beers each. They said they didn't think they would be so busy. Hell every other place is closed & we were there to celebrate those who could not have a beer & a burger.  Will not go back again. I recommend JONATHAN'S right across the street. 2-4-1 beers. Great menu & great service.  Your $ will go further & they are properly staffed. Sad but true. Here me now or believe me later.

Kudos to Bar Louis for having such incredible servers! Of note is "Tim". He served my date and I the first time we came in together. About a week or two later we visited again, but decided to sit at the bar. Tim recognized us and came over just to say hello!! He wasn't even waiting on us but still took the time to greet us and see how we were doing. Bar Louis is lucky to have Tim as part of its staff!  We will definitely be back!  Thank you Tim!

We decided to try this new restaurant in Bellevue. When we got there, I would say the restaurant was 3/4 full. The waitress told us the food would take about 45 minutes. We were ok with this so we both ordered cheeseburgers and fries. Two hours later, I asked the waitress how much longer.  She came back and told us they just started our burgers. I told her we weren't waiting any longer and to give us our bar tab. In over 2 hours, we never saw a manager who should have been going around talking to the customers. We certainly will not go back for a long time.  If you're going for drinks only, it's fine. If you want to eat, go somewhere else.

Food is bland and overpriced - service is very bad.  I had to go for a birthday dinner and it was like pulling teeth trying to get the waitress to come back to the table to help us.  She kept disappearing into the back. I've given it a few shots now, each time was disappointing.

Our waiter, John, really put effort into his job. He got our food and drink order quickly, recommended certain favorites and gave us drink recommendations. He was courteous, fast, and observant. The manager, Jerad, came by our table to make sure all was good. The whole design and ambiance of the restaurant was appealing to all ages. I hear Friday's nights are super busy and the place is hopping so people who want to converse without yelling, maybe avoid Friday nights. Lol. We enjoyed the experience.

Yay! Bellevue has a cool place- do dah, do dah-Bellevue has a cool place, O' da do da day! If you have lived in Bellevue for more than a minute, you get what a big deal this is. You don't have to drive out of your own part of Nashville to have a cool place to go to! It's a Christmas miracle! Now, don't get me wrong, it's not like I live under a rock and get easily blown away by corporate chain bars...but we've been under the cloud of Applebee's...O'Charley's....2 Sonics....2 Dairy Queens....other bars with greasy floors and so-so menus....so, hey, let us have our Bar Louie moment, can't you? And get the Effen Good martini...because it is just that. Have fun!

Inside was a little loud for us (late 50's). We sat outside and I felt like I was out of town. It was so nice with good service and good food. There are several items I'm looking forward to going back to try them.

Love the food there, it not anything out of the ordinary but its good. The drinks are average, I would advice going during happy hour since they are not worth the full price.

We visited here Saturday night around 8:45-9pm. We had just seen a movie and wanted something to eat. We went there and it was packed. There were lots of open tables and yet there were people waiting and our wakt was 20 min. (mind you we aren't from this area, we hadn't realized they just opened a couple weeks ago) we got to our table and it was nice. A very neat atmosphere. However it is way too loud in there I felt like i was yelling to have a conversation. The waiter was fabulous. He was very kind and professional. The food didn't take too long and it was delicious. Prices were fair. We gave them the benefit of the doubt since they are still new. We witnessed a lot of tables being served something the didn't order and our drinks went to the wrong table and took a bit for them to finally get to us. But thats ok. It was still good and a the people working there were very kind and energetic. Once all the kinks get worked out I'm sure it'll be perfect. They keep the air on high though, we were freezing the entire time. We literally got so cold our fingers were numb feeling. Good food good service. Try them out.

Virtually ignored by our waitress, burgers took over 40 minutes, they were busy but no excuse for bad service.  Burgers were good. Alfredo was bland. I won't go back.

  • May 19, 2018 by Chris S.

I had the trio nachos they were really good. Then I got the fish and chipsnot so good. They were over cooked. But we will try it again.

  • May 19, 2018 by Erin N.

Decent. Atmosphere is great, especially on the patio where you can hear each other talk. Food mediocre, drink options vast.

A welcome addition to Bellevue. Went early last night and glad we did. SRO with a line at the door by 6. Service was great, happy hour specials on drinks and food right on the money. The outdoor seating area is a great spot to people watch. Will definitely return.

I wanted to like this place since it was right up the road. I have been twice. Average menu, nothing special. I just went and our drink order was taken with an appetizer. 30 Minutes went by and no one bothered to take our food order. There were no more than 12 customers in the place and there were at least 3 serves I noticed. We just got the check (having to find the server) and left.

Definitely a welcome addition to Bellevue! Friendly staff and management make this my new hangout! Do not change a thing!!

  • May 06, 2018 by Carol M.

Will NOT come again! Was sat in an empty restaurant. Slow service. After placing our order, waited 45 minutes. When inquired with waitress, was told our meal would still be 15 -20 minutes before it would be out. Was then told smaller parties of two were getting their food first because that was easier for the kitchen to  get out. If your restaurant can't handle a party of 6....you shouldn't be open.

Updated Review 07/17/18: So we've been to Bar Louie on several more occasions and the service still hasn't gotten any better, we've been told to sit where we want by the bartenders and then the hostess comes to tell us that all seating is reserved.  I've gotten the wrong food when the place is half empty and honestly I never thought anyone could screw up a salad but I was just recently proven wrong when having lunch with my wife.   If you're ok with mediocre food and service but want somewhere to drink I guess Bar Louie in Bellevue is the place to go.  But if you're hungry I'd walk a few doors in either direction to check out other dining options if I were you. - - - Original Review: 4/28/2018 (3 Stars) Bar Louie just opened in Bellevue and I am usually loathe to review a brand new restaurant, however, I am making an exception this time. We were seated fairly quickly and a server came and took our drink orders, I had a beer and my wife had a mango margarita.  Once we got our drinks and had taken a couple of sips our server stopped by the table and took our order. We both ordered the Street Tacos, my wife ordered chicken and I ordered the blackened fish.  For some reason it took an inordinate amount of time for us to get our food and the restaurant was beginning to thin out so when our food arrived we were fairly hungry.  My wife's chicken tacos looked amazing my fish tacos on the other hand should have been called lettuce tacos with fish bits. My fish bit tacos were lukewarm as were the corn tortillas in a paper bag that they came with.  The highlight of my lunch was the small serving of rice with black beans that accompanied the tacos as well as the spoonful of guacamole and spoonful of pico de gallo.  My wife seemed to really enjoy eating her chicken tacos which made me regret my decision not to get something off the brunch menu, which when the table next to ours had ordered from and when we were leaving got their food which looked delicious. I am going to give Bar Louie another chance but won't be ordering off the regular menu.  I'm gonna give the Brunch menu a chance to redeem this new eatery in my eyes when next I venture there.  Hopefully it'll be an experience to make me update my review in a positive way.

Took a chance after a work shift to get a quick, evenly priced food and drink, and ended up enjoying the entire meal. The "new" old fashioned, was just like any old fashioned (minus the angostura bitters); still a nice cocktail for sure! Want to...give major props to Alicia for recommending that chipotle chicken grilled cheese. Give that lady a raise for the work she's putting in! Will be back soon Ari F.More
